Just updated my AMS2 yesterday but haven't configured it yet for triples. Only been running it with VR so far. Any plans for a graphics/triples config video for AMS2 like you have for ACC, LMU ? Would really appriciate that :) Awesome content again!
@@SimracingGG Love it! Looks like the triples config inside the game is broken on the new release (mentioned in the release note) so we need to adjust it using the config file.
Like my thoughts too. I drove Lamborghini sc63 yesterday with "authentic" realism set on everything with cars controls. Result was imo too much grip and like you said in video no real feeling of weight etc. I felt like I could just take my x360-controller and drive same results or better, feel no difference controlling the car with my wheel. I have moza r5.
I drove assetto corsa's lmdh's (mainly vrc and rss cars) and lemans ultimate lmdh's as a comparison and I thought they deliver better feeling. Still I am not saying AMS2 is bad, I love it and new patch is great. AI is superb and online-racing is improving a lot. And I know Reiza will improve and patch things to work based on a feedback. No worries here.
Weight us overplayed imo. I dont mind a little floaty yet detailed. As long as its telling me where i am and what its doing. My asetek wheelbase I do feel the grip and suspension very well. So idk i can pkay with that ease of grip every little twitch I feel. So that makes up for the lack of weight. Sometimes cars feel to heaby in some titles. Like a real car has weight but when it comrs to a servo motor supplying it the power in weight feels alot different to me. So i sometimes prefer this feeling. Can always raise the ffb with some friction, dampening and inirtia to get that feeling. We have to keep in mind we need to adjust our wheelbases for certain titles to get the feel we want. You can grt plenty of weight if you want it. Cant keep similiar settings to other titles and expect it to feel the same. Great video though enjoyed it! I just see alot of people go title to title without adjusting the actual wheelbase settings an realize wait there is a reason why brands have preffered settings and they differ so much title to title lol. Like jardier love him but he left his wheelbase on the same settings he had on acc yet even simagic and asetek both show completely different settings for ams2. So yeah shouls def be adjusted. Luckily he did enjoy the ffb still so thats good.
Thank you mate! Appreciate your feedback and happy to see you enjoyed the video! :) I really like the FFB in AMS2 and yes I increased it a little after this update. I am not talking about making the FFB heavier but rather when you turn the wheel, the way the car reacts is like it has very little mass and inertia not so much the wheel being light. But overall I think the 1.6 update is good (I still have many things to try) and with LFM, hopefully will make AMS2 more popular. The more sims we have, the better it is :)
Bro I use asetek, can you help me with ams2 settings please because i feel nothing under braking for this game. It like i have to use visuals but car doesn’t sim to stop properly. And my steering lock I set it to 360 in asetek software due to calibration failure in game. Please help
It's amost impossible to get the screens lined up perfectly in AMS2.. I have no trouble in all other sims... But the triple screen setup Reiza give you just isnt good enough. And @SimracingGG what wheel is that ?
I guess you have seen this triple setup video? You have to calculate the physical height that you enter into AMS2. If you just measure it and use that value it will not line up correctly. ruclips.net/video/4dBTb5fhT3s/видео.html
Yes, the triple screen setup and settings in AMS2 certainly leave a lot to be desired and I also never managed to lined the monitors properly. The wheel is Pokornyi Engineering's HYP-R wheel
It's definitely less feeling that the other sims but I can still feel a little bit. Try playing with your settings but again, it will not feel as good as iRacing or LMU What wheel do you have?
@@mlondipraiseworth3223 Yes AMS2 is no t as good as those two when it comes to feeling under braking. I have no experience with the Asetek wheels but maybe someone in the comments can help.

Thank you so much! Yes, I will try and finetune the triple screen settings in the next days and will do a video :)

@@HopRodGarage Thanks for the heads up! I am sure Reiza are working on a patch to fix that but yes, config files it is for the time being :)

@@HopRodGarage Thank you sir. I will check this video out :)
Is it me or what…when I brake i feel nothing in this game. Probably its my settings but no brakes feedback whatsoever.
Try changing brake pressure and brake bias ? Maybe also look at your break pedal deadzone and sensitivity settings ??
@ out of the box ams2 is thee worst sim Ive ever driven…for me brakes is everything and this sim is the worst. i
