    I worked for lawn love in LA. the jobs are like you said" horrible lawns". the pay is $20 dollar on large lawns that have no grass at all but a bunch of leafs and weeds, so when I re quote, they accept to the hours, but later accused me of abused of lawn growth when there was not growth, but the app has a choice of extra time too, rather than overgrowth, but to the stingy client, it appears as overgrowth. They complained and I got deleted from their app. I had to do it to make extra money. The problem I see is that lawn love is like by CHEAP SKATES who see as a way to get practically free work for their neglected yard by choice.

    There rates are HORRIBLE and they charge you a fee for everything. I had a lawn they were paying a stinking $30 but was right in the middle of the area I was trying to develop, mowed every week on time for THREE MONTHS. Then one day it was rainy, but not bad enough I wanted to cancel. Got like 2/3 of the way through the day before it rained too hard and couldn't make it. Well I couldn't reschedule on the app because they charge a "same day" reschedule fee. so I tried calling and after waiting 10-15 minutes each time asked for a call back all three times. Never got a call back and then got charged a no show fee. Then they cancelled the job, put it up for some one else to take and refused to refund it so I said to heck with it. Then next week I double checked, it was NOT on my schedule checked twice the day before. Well no one ELSE had picked it up so they charged me a late fee AGAIN. They literally make their money off of charging their contractors off of their all ready horribly low pay. Strongly recommend you avoid them. And this was far from the first time. I literally have records to show that 2-3 times a month at least they charged me late fees for no reason and then just refunded them before the billing week even ended just proving their system it set up to constantly auto charge fees. Then they wonder why they can't get their customers serviced.

    The main issue I have LL Is I live in 2 states depending on what's going on. You can not search for jobs in other areas only what you signed up for. The pay is Horrendous should be the number one reason not to use them.

  • @mrj-charles6383
    @mrj-charles6383 3 года назад

    I got charged a $15 fee for a no-show the other day. My deal was it was a job I could not do since the customer said one thing and the job was something else. So they rescheduled the job with a pending requote. Luckily got it all straightened out and they reversed the charge and put the shitty job back on my board. I am only sticking with them for now because I did not want to build my business this year. I had a guy out of CA that used to broker lawns for me using REO Properties. I made great money with him but he gave up the business due to insurance being expensive. I did that in the Harrisburg PA area.

      I was paid $44 for this property when I started it, then it was reduced to $31. Very strange, but that's LL for you. You're correct that there is no room for profit when doing jobs for LL; after accounting for travel, wear and tear on the equipment, plus your time, you end up in the red once it's all done.

    Sorry but I am disliking this review new out of the box isn't a proper test review. This mower is absolutely garbage mine has no oil drain to change the oil. Second cut into second season the valves stuck open. Another issue this mower is suppose to be approved for ethanol gas but 3 to 4 tanks and the carb starts acting up and authorized shops won't honor warranty if ethonol gas was used. So only use non ethanol gas to avoid carb issues. Troy built should be made to recall all these mowers.

    I just received a call from someone at lawn love which I never heard of and they asked me if I could finish up a yard a previous lawn love user did. Basically the customer wasn’t happy with the type of work they did. So lawn love found me on Yelp and asked me if I could help them finish the job. So I went ahead and drove to the location which is 20 minutes from where I live and gave the representative of LV my estimate which was $575 for a complete backyard clean up and hauling. The LV person told me that it was kind of high because the previous lawn person quoted then $100. I Was like no way I would do that job fit $100 there is a lot of leaves to rake. I Was told not to take the trash and just bag it so I lowered the price to $495 which they agreed to pay. By the looks of it they get people jobs but they pay is low. I will stick to quoting my self where I can charge anywhere from $285 to $725 for a yard clean up.

    I bought the model with the 196 cc motor. It ran about 10 minutes before the rear drive stopped working. The front drive barely functioned at all. Troy Bilt was no help at all. There is no support; no chat or teck support. No service and repair manual is available. You have to take it to the service center for the smallest thing. Ok, I thought, at least it's covered by warrenty. No it's not. I was informed that because the drive failure was caused by a belt falling off, I had to pay for the repair. The lawn is becoming a hayfield as I wait for the diagnosis on the front wheel drive. The cost of the mower plus the cost of repair is well above the cost of the best mower out there. Save yourself the grief. Don't buy a troy bilt.
