Pit People confirmed the narrator was actually the bear that died at the end of Battleblock. Also I believe the narrator all through BBT was just a recollection of his events, thus why the game plays out like so and why he has a line after he dies.

I have a theory, what if that guy in the poster is the butcher and he got cloned and ones Clones was angry and selfish and the other was just a goofy guy, so then one of them got stuffed in the empty butcher animatronic suit and the other was just mixed with pizza to create pizza head. because not only are they wearing the same clothes but they’re both located a single floor from each other and in war, there’s clones of Peppino. Maybe pizza head took the original two cloning chambers and put them in his slightly bigger newer cloning chamber. But hey thats just a theory, a GAME THEORY

I always believed Hatty was the narrator for one scene in the cutscenes (last cutscene before the ending) saying “Perhaps we’re the crazy ones and they’re all sane”. I always thought “we” was kind of including the narrator in some way. But instead of it just being the player puppet only or another random friend puppet beside the player; it was Hatty. I think the narrator being actually Hatty was the initial intention of the devs since there are other bits of dialogue from the narrator that implies it was Hatty, which you pointed out a few with the golden hat ones. And even the menu selection of game modes has Hatty’s hands being the sort of selecting cursor with papers which gives off a narrator vibe. The Behemoth just made it a lot more questionable once Pit People had it’s story and had their narrator being the antagonist but I still believe at the very least the intention was supposed to originally be Hatty. He’ll always be Hatty to me personally

I've been WAITING for someone to talk about BBT's story from this angle, cuz I'm SUPER passionate about this game's story. I adore the vague storytelling because it lets the player imagine and decide what happens, like the mentioned idea that Hatty is The Narrator we hear. Despite the many holes it has, I enjoy the theory that Hatty is The Narrator a whole lot, it gives him a bit of character we can work with. It also insinuates he could be blurring various details when telling the story, and embellishing his own image, perhaps even to cope with the trauma from the game's events. It's so fun to think about! Hatty will always be The Narrator, at least in my eyes. Also, don't think I didn't notice the background music from Underhero in some parts of the video, which is another indie game I adore! Puzzleman at the end got a laugh outta me, great video!

Never played the full game, only played the xbox 360 demo and I LOVED IT I l played the demo over and over again when I was a kid, that was the game that i really wanted to buy, but my parents only bought me physical versions of games, that's why I didnt own the full game
