I will say that is one of the best things about Krump: the creator is still alive and is the best. The Hip-Hop pioneers (Coke La Rock, Herc, Zaza/Trixie, etc.) all semi/retired before Hip-hop hit the mainstream and now you have this fight over who created it. I don't think Kefton is a good example of "hip-hop". I feel like examples of good "hip-hop" dancers are Chris Brown (when he's not krumping), Crown from Red Bull Dance Your Style, and maybe Les Twins. I would also classify Shuffle dancers, Lite Feet dancers, Memphis Jookin' dancers, and Chicago Footwork dancers as "hip-hop". Tight Eyez as far as I know is the best dancer alive, so there isn't anybody I can see beating him in a battle while he is healthy. However, Kefton is very sloppy, and he doesn't have much dynamic movement. Les Twins and Crown are better examples of "modern hip-hop", and Chris Brown, when not krumping, is a krump-influenced hip-hop dancer that uses popping techniques.
