Welcome everyone! Hope all is well. In this video, I’m going discuss a group that might have more to them than their most well-known hit, “You Get What You Give.” I’ll talk about lead singer, Gregg Alexander and his philosophy concerning his music career and his creative process into writing enchanting songs about hope rather than focusing on the negatives. While also dissecting his decision to quit the band after the band’s first and only studio album earned platinum status.

Please consider SUBSCRIBING to the channel! Leave any feedback or suggestions in the comments! Hello everyone! In today's video, I discuss my opinion on the awkward state the music industry is in regarding the length of an album. In recent years there has been no shortage of experiments done by labels to try and squeeze the most amount of streams out of a project. Rather than letting a concise ...

Glad you could make it! Today I tell the story of a well-respected musician and how he didn’t take the traditional route most artists take once they’ve been recognized. Sometimes the customer isn’t always right in the eyes of the owner. Wow. The support on the last video was insane. I’m honestly speechless with the reception it has gotten and that just motivates me to work even harder. Thank yo...
Music videos are DEAD.

In today's video, I talk about the decline in music videos in recent years. I go over examples of artists' music videos struggling to compare to their catalog from a few years ago ranging from Drake, Adele, and Post Malone. Timestamps: 1:35 Pt. I - Times have changed. 3:40 Pt. II - Short-form is now king. 5:50 Pt. III - How the mighty have fallen 8:36 Pt. IV - Don't let the flame die out. 11:12...
4:15 just wanted to put this out there so everyone knows. I pay for distrokid its actually only $20 a YEAR. Not $20 a month. Its super cheap and worth it!
I have bin a fun for 10 yers
Great video On Queue, keep up the great work!
Its crazy to pay for music nowadays. I get even brand new songs for 100% free.
7:36 - chart per stream
That was good. Out of date for Clancy, but I still really enjoyed it. And shared
I think the story starts with Self titled, but I could be wrong💃❤️ l-/ I finally got my husband to a show and he appreciates them now. Took 10+ years. He's always kinda put up with my obsession. YOU HAVE TO SEE THEM LIVE!! Nashville 9!! #Clancy #clique the Mulberry Street lights were fun!!! We were right side
Facts I wanted to release a music video, but it is definitely dying so is the music it’s becoming basic, and repetitive at the same time.
You have a new sub great videos
Thank you! New video coming soon!
This video just popped up on my feed and I adore it. Ive seen MCR just before they broke up and I was so excited and I loved the show. But nothing compared to the two times I saw TOP in concert. First time was a small like 800?? Capacity venue in my city in 2016 and then second time was in 2019 in Vancouver. My friend and I were both not doing well mentally, for different reasons, and that concert was probably the most alive I had felt that year. And honestly? That was probably the last time I felt that alive and connected to people too. I really hope they do another leg with more Canadian stops out East. I don't expect them to stop in my city (I was amazed they even did one show here lmao) but id absolutely travel to Vancouver to see it with my friends who also love TOP
"You guys wanna hear about my balls" gets me every time
🤣🤣
He put a new song did you see it
I did! How crazy is that! It’s a great song I’ve been having it on repeat
hMmm but how do I know this is how they really met? 💀🤨
yeh didn't they say in a interview they change the story each time
Im a really big fan of twenty one pilots fan i have all their albums i know all their songs and all the lyrics to their songs
Music videos have never served a purpose to me.
NGL i be still selling CDs my uncle made me do it to give myself an "advance"
Music videos are kinda coming back, Not Like Us and Houdini got 100 million views in a month or two
Im a new fan and i really like thier sound! (Theres a Twenty One Pilots song stuck in my head rn)
Excellent. I just saw this for the first time. 👏🏼👏🏼👍🏼👏🏼👏🏼 Love it!!
Thank you!
Actualy its the worst time ever to be a musican, this is why ruclips.net/video/88q1PJnN3qE/видео.htmlsi=Ve1BOq2aK754O0am
I can hear you out but Circles does NOT have 10 million views 😭 last time I checked it was between 600-700m
Twenty One Pilots has done something the Beatles and Michael Jackson, or any other recording artist never did, have EVERY song on two consecutive albums go GOLD as singles.
Big love to members of the Clique whether you've been here from the start or are just finding something new you enjoy! <3 Big hugs from little Lunia <3
after covid, life so hard. i broke and i turning into making music from home
I think going direct to consumer with your music and delaying putting it on streaming might be the way forward. People might think they'd be reluctant to pay, but if its music you genuinely want to listen to, you most likely would, especially if the price was reasonable.
In the Clique, concerts are a celebration of life. “We’ve made it this far, kid.”

It's simple. 10,000 people across the universe spending $10 on me a year is 100k a year. LOL & now I reach the 6:55 mark HA! A song a week sounds nuts. If I can craft 1 a month it's a miracle. I'm only 1 person, a drummer mainly who at least holds & techniques the guitar properly, & I'm actually mixing 2 things to create a kind of new genre of punk/metal. Then there's the rap ep...I'm spread a bit thin & demand quality so it all takes forever.
It’s not often a band has the impact they do for YEARS! I discovered them vessel going into blurryface. First song I found, guns for hands. They became so important to me. When I turned 18, I had my tattoo designed already for 2 years prior. Sooo a top tattoo was my first ink and it was so important to me and still is. I used to SH in the spot its in. They are just everything. They have such a huge impact not only because of their music, but because of the people they are. They’ve started changing the industry since the beginning. There’s also just so much more that comes from the clique. The art, covers, etc. Tyler calls us a good group. We are such a good group.
This video is wrong, its actualy the worst time to be a musician At least in The La area. I dont know about others but literaly the only way you can make music nowindays is to sell youre soul to satan and to make bad music. AI music is taking over and no one knows how to play an instriment anymore because the real musicans are being rejected by the indutry in mass in favor for celebretys that worsen the culture. I quit music when i had the chance and becoming a writer instead, best case seberio i will write video game movie and tv show scripts for the devs or filmakers to adapt, worse case i will be writing books to be adapted into video games and films but never will i sell my soul to satan and become a celebrety farting in the mic and making trash music.i turned my back on the music indutry and gatekept it away from me to not ruin the integrety of my life but my step dad told me that the music indutry turned its back on me and betrayed me. I dont beleve that but this indutry must die before it can respawn like the phonox and make better songs and i think the world will end before music is good again. Music is a science and im out
This is the worst time to be a musician. There's the whole debate of having to be like 5 other professions such as social media marketing, engineer, producer, video editor etc that I won't get further into, but obviously this sucks if you only want to create music. You also have the dead internet combined with a market that's already very oversaturated and could very easily be multiplied by high numbers very soon due to increased AI productions. It's nice with some positivity and all, but this is perhaps the most delusional take I've seen in quite a long time. If you're actually earning well with music then you're one of very few super lucky individuals.
I'd love to know your thoughts since Clancy has now been released. But sooo well done on giving the best band in the world the credit it's long overdue receiving. Thank you. 👏👏👏👏👏👏
@@reganrobison4493 video in the works that has some Clancy involved 😁 thank you for the support
@onqueueisgood yay!!!! So excited! I'll be here patiently waiting. 😉
This is cool
I started listening to tøp so so so long ago, I put my entire family on and we’re all big big fans. they’ve always been so lovable especially when it comes to them not going pop and mainstream. They have always made art that they know their fans love appreciate and understand. They’re dedicated to US just as much as we are dedicated to them and that’s why my love is undying for this insanely talented band. They aren’t worried about what song will get the most streams their intentions stay pure, they stay true to where they started. artists and bands do not do that anymore.
"Clancy is dead." Erm.. Actually. 🤓☝ Edit: RAHH I HELD UP A LIGHT DURING THAT MULBERRY STREET LIGHT EVENT! I WENT TO THAT CONCERT!!
🫵🗿 You’re absolutely right
Instructions unclear.. I now make $100,000,000,000,000 a year. How can I delete some of the zeroes?
Just make good videos
Damn, i joined a cult. And i love it.
I didn't know the Winter Soldier was a musician??😯
I only want music for me. Thats like reading your journal as karaoke for money.
2:36 - people watch youtube without blocking ads?? I mean, I guess they do. But wtaf.
The fact that they still to this day use and bring out the best of western music culture in musicality and level of fanbase integration seen only in kpop consistently makes me have faith in music industry.
Whats your thoughts on Clancy?
Video soon about that 🗿
@@onqueueisgoodyou better 🗿
