0:05 At the Munich Conference on September 29 and 30, 1938, Arthur Neville Chamberlain of the United Kingdom and Édouard Daladier of France, assisted by the Italian fascist Mussolini, handed over control of the Sudeten border region of democratic Czechoslovakia to the Nazi Third Reich. "You have chosen between shame and war. You have chosen shame and you will have war," said Winston Churchill on the sidelines of the signing of the Munich Agreement. The signing of this document allowed Nazism to grow to colossal proportions and unleash the worst war of all time. A similar division of powers was repeated at the Yalta Conference on February 4 and 11, 1945, in the person of the sick US President Roosevelt and the British Prime Minister Churchill, who handed over control of the Czechs, Slovaks, Poles, Hungarians and other nations of Central Europe to the communist monster Stalin. After the war, Europe remained divided by the iron curtain into the capitalist West and the communist East. For the Czechs and Slovaks, the period of communist rule from the coup in 1948 and from the occupation by the Soviet Army in 1968 to the Velvet Revolution in 1989 was the only period in their more than a thousand-year history when they were not part of Central Europe. This period was a civilizational catastrophe for them. Czechoslovakia, which was, before and after the war, among the richest and most advanced countries in the world, was overtaken, in this period, by the previously poor Austria, by 250 percent of the gross domestic product per capita. Since the fall of communist power, a second generation has grown up that does not remember the division of Europe into East and West, because normal geography has returned to the continent. With Central Europe in the middle of Europe. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Central_Europe#/media/File:Grossgliederung_Europas-en.svg

Poland is in Central Europe, not Eastern Europe: geographically and mentally. The Iron Curtain fell more than 30 years ago, and it really is high time to understand that that division of Europe no longer exists. The geographical Centre of Europe is in Lithuania, Belarus, Ukraine or in the east of Poland (depending on what method of measuring is used). East Europe means Russia. If you say that Poland is an Eastern European country then you are insulting Poles with this statement. East is Russia and other countries to the east. And we certainly do not want to be associated in any way with this barbaric country.

@@paintsilj On the extreme fringes it is possible to find examples. The majority does not reflect that though, even with Azov. Azov looks like barbie compared to Rusich for example. @aniinnrchoque1861 the majority don't matter in Ukraine. That's one reason we have this war. There's been hatred towards Russia and plenty other countries by these groups. You have to be blind not to be aware of it. Same with how some Russian POWs we returned, alive or dead minus digits, some castrated even. Lots of people disappeared in eastern Ukraine as a result of Azov and others pretty much being given a free reign to do what they wanted
