The Cave Temple hidden in the MIDDLE of Korat City Center!
Wat Phayap Temple is located in the city center of Korat (Nakhon Ratchasima) on Chumpon Road.
As well as an unusual man-made cave temple that feels more like it should be out in some distant mountain range, it also features a large temple designed to give a “floating” effect.
Location:
Wat Phayap
308 Chumphon Rd, Nai Mueang, Mueang Nakhon Ratchasima District, Nakhon Ratchasima 30000

Save One Night Market in Korat, Nakhorn Ratchasima, Isan, is huge and cheap, with loads of bargains. Everything you would expect, masses of food stalls and big seating areas as well goods, clothes, shoes, antiques, secondhand and a permanent section with lots of shops. Well worth a visit, especially for the variety of food on sale. #nightmarket #korat #thailand #food #tourist #touring #isan

Sri Maha Mariamman Temple in Kuala Lumpur’s Chinatown is one of the must visit temples in Malaysia thanks to the stunning Hindu style architecture and ornate decoration. The 6 metres high entrance tower (“Gopuram”) is its most striking feature with 228 idols carved into its five layers. There is a beautiful and richly ornate main prayer hall and a further four shrines located around the outer p...

Bangkok Airplane Cafe hidden in plain sight ... and you can walk on the wing!
Просмотров 2805 месяцев назад
MD-82 Cafe, Restaurant & Dispensary is located in Bangkok's Prawet District. It's an airplane eatery experience which is closest to the city but is quite unknown and almost hidden in plain sight as its next to Sukhumvit 7, a key road to the city. The interesting feature of this plane is that you can ascend stairs to the wing tip and the walk the length of the wing. GPS location: maps.app.goo.gl...

What an amazing place
The chief monk certainly had rather unique ideas 😅
'Rickshaw' is a carriage pulled by ONE man (named Mr.Ricky) running in front of the carriage; 'Trishaw' is a three-wheeled carriage pulled by a pedalled bicycle attached at the side of the carriage, or the bicycle can be attached to the front of the carriage, or the carriage is pushed forward by the pedalled bicycle attached at the back of the carriage, IGNORAMUS!
How have you got less than 200 subscribers, this was far more information informative and better filmed than all those make those WHO KNEW BANGKOK WAS LIKE THIS? And this is the best food ever, type vloggers. I will be in Bangkok in two weeks and will visit this Market because of your video. Subbed!
Hi, thanks for your comments, very much appreciated. Actually it's a new channel I only started a few months ago, so not many videos yet. I hope you enjoy the Train Market, it's one I really like & I would for sure be interested in your feedback, thanks.
How much money do the things cost? I can't quite understand what you're saying. I am American. Im hearing the word "Bart". Forgive me if im insulting. I'll trying to figure out what you're saying. But if you see this, please do tell. Im trying to do the math but cant figure out what you're saying. I do have the video in 1.5 speed though. Hmmm
The yellow pods of fruit you seen in the market are Jackfruit pods. The Jackfruit seeds can also be cooked and eaten.
Thanks, the name escaped me while I was talking. But I didn't know the seeds could be cooked, that's something I will have to try, thanks for the heads up.
have you been to Save one go night market in bangkok?
Actually no, it's been on my to do list for many years but never got round to it.
That was awesome mate, great video like always. That is one of my favourite places to visit every time I'm in Bangkok. There is a antiques dealer in there who I stay in touch with regularly, he's a top guy, has some amazing stuff and sells to all over the world!
Thanks Dave, appreciated. I used to live very close to the market and was my weekend hangout then 😅 but now pretty rarely go. We need to hit it one night next time you are back here.
@@DiscoverSEAsia yeah wow that would have been a great place to live near... Yep would love to do that for sure. Should be back once Dee is thru her op tomorrow, so perhaps over the coming 2-3 months for sure.
I have to admit, that is one lively train night market!^^ Also, I love the variety of food, shops and even classic cars featured in the market.
One to put on your to visit list as always a lot of cars at this market too :)
Splendid commentaries. There's a certain eloquence to the way you conveyed information. The narration is on par with that of a professional documentary. And the hushed yet awed appreciation of the little details adds to the genuineness. Keep up the good work. I'd love to hear more of your thoughts on Malaysia especially.
Thank you for your comments, much appreciated. This video was kinda made on the spot without any plan to do so as I was in Klang to visit a friend and the place just looked so interesting. I enjoy Malaysia a lot and the people, but don't get much time to be there.
i have gone to this very temple as well and i amazed at how lively and festive it is compared to abrahamic ones like mosques and churches seem much more bland and lame and it's white or at most green all over while they are filled with colours.Seems like a pretty happy and fun religion.
Agree totally with that view, they're very welcoming to everyone too.
@DiscoverSEAsia Hi... does Kazuto have IG or Facebook? I may want to contact him and ask him to bring me around when I visit Klang.
Thank you for this interesting video. Been to Klang several times but mainly to the port area. It's sad to see quite a number of buildings in ruins especially that Malay house. Wish the government/City would try to restore some of them.
Thank you. The decay is sad to see indeed some amazing historic buildings fading slowly away.
Old towns are neglected and left to rot unfortunstely.
Love this, sounds like a must go for my next trip, thanks for the details 👍👍
Thanks, yes worth dropping in, very authentic. very quiet in the week though, much busier at weekends.
Korat is my hometown, I used to see this place in the financial crisis era. There were people drove their cars, open their car trunks and sell their staffs . Couldn't imagine on those days that this market will become like this on today 😊
Yes, interesting how the market has grown up from this but still retains its roots. Makes it a great experience.
ปีหน้าชวนเพื่อนๆมาเทึ่ยวเยอะๆนะครับ
Next time, you should wear pink colored glasses……..so the world will be a rosy place for you, sir!! Welcome to Thailand!!👍👍👍
Thank you. Well, I do always try to see the world through rose coloured glasses, it's a pretty wonderful place despite the faults.
Nice 👍👍👍
Thank you.
Impressive temple. I bet it cost a pretty penny. Rich colors and super clean temple. It takes lot of efforts to keep the temple that clean. on a lighter note, don't kill lot of birds right after coming out of the temple. Such expressions normalize killing birds. Birds Lives Matter too.
Agree that temple wasn't cheap to build or maintain. And will definitely try not to kill any birds 😅
.... and the day usually ends with a massive drunken brawl ....
Songkran : 3 days to celebrate Thailand copying and stealing everything from other countries . Buddha left a long time ago
ขโมยพ่อง
You’re probably a Cambodian!!!…..lol lol 😂😂😂
Strangely enough, our “copy” is more fun, and celebrated exactly the same way anywhere the Thai and Tai tribes happen to be. Lighten up, and happy belated new year.
@denseone I'll lighten up when your people start believing it's actually wrong to lie, cheat, and steal from foreigners . When you realize your nation isn't the best in the world and you are not above judgment. Try living in the real world and get along with others . Teach the correct history instead of lies . Start respecting others and don't threaten anyone when you're wrong .
so sad we missed the songkran, arrived 17th
Well, for the future, Pattaya Songkan is 1 week, finished today & Ban Bueng goes on to 21st this year.
Wow... The atmosphere of the Songkran water festival at Silom Road looks so crazy and lively! 😮
Can't believe your camera survived from water 😂
It was really wrapped up 😅
I have to admit, it's very fascinating to learn about the Songkran water festival in Thailand!^^
It's totally nuts ... 😅
I miss this temple I came twice to KL & I visited batu caves during renovation but I wish to climb the stairs but I think I won't have the chance to come back bcoz I can't afford the airfare & hotel,I'm praying that one day if RUclips will monetize me then I can visit & vlog.it was my ultimate dream before I started vlogging back in 2020 before pandemic.
Good luck for the future, hope it all works out for you 🤞
This temple is the sister temple of batu caves
I lived in klang. It is not touristy of course. A bit dirty at times
I quite enjoyed visiting, wasn't what I expected, old town area and river were quite nice.
Yes dirty...i live in Klang...MPK seems dumb to complaints...and then ambitious to become a city...boleh belah..!!😂
@xeedsenterprise505 ambition for corruption via cleaning contractors who avoid working but get paid.
Great video on the Klang Old Town! It's very fascinating to learn about various places in South East Asia, especially those not well known to tourists.^^
Thank you as always bro.
@@DiscoverSEAsia You're welcome and keep up with the awesome work.^^
It's a dirty job..... 😉👌👍👍👍 Perhaps the only type of plane I'd be interested in boarding since retirement. Big hugs mate 🙋🏻♂️🙋♀️🦮
Hi Dave, you finally retired ? How's life & how's Joanne? I trust you are up to mischief as always. Miss you all & big hugs back.
Not rice soup, it’s congee, not vomiting but spiting …enough of watching. Do your research.
My Friend, He is From the United States.he said he was there a couple og Months ago. Most of the People don't know how to Speak Inglish. If you they don't understand you, They become RUDE & UNPOLITE..they even OVERPRICE YOU. SO BE CAREFUL IN GOING TO THAILAND...!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
You were very lucky to get in. This is one of the place i love to get in.
Yes, pure coincidence, I hadn't been there for 10 years and then went to take a look and the owners just turned up. Lucky day indeed.
Thanks for yr. Video, i used to live around this area when i'm a little child, and I studied in the university near Hua Ta Ke .It's very good memories, just want to tell you ,this market used to have more business and very lifly but the comming of the road, bridge and express way changed it. Anyway Many thanks ❤
Thanks for your comment, much appreciated. I can imagine how it must have been thriving in the past, now it's quite quiet except at the weekends, when it gets busier. I live not far from there, I like this area and not expensive at all.
Can you give the guesthouse name in Hua Takhe Market....
Thanks for making this fantastice video. This brings back my memmories when I was studying a college near there.
Thanks very much for your comment. I notice quite a few students come to study in the market as it has some nice coffee shops/cafes, although the best/biggest one seems to have closed since I last went there a few years ago,
❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤❤welcome
Thank you ❤️
Thanks for the video and welcome to malaysia
Thank you!
A thorough tour of such an interesting private museum and its surrounding community
Thank you
Ooh... That is one fascinating video! For me, it allowed me to learn more about Thai history as well as the architecture of the Gingerbread House.
Thank you for the support as always.
