It is so important to listen like this, i make sure to look into my grandkids eyes…also find ways to honestly compliment them…especially how they are getting older and more proficient, they want that to be noticed….each of my grandchildren have such different personalities….all treasured and loved.

I love seeing parents talk to kids like normal, it helps them develop language skills better (I’m a living example) and it shows because even if he doesn’t know any real words, he’s imitating the pattern and traits of talking! God I love learning about kids.
