Nuts and seeds are bad for you, oats are bad for you, vegetables are pretty toxic.
GABA and Magnesium are needed to sleep well... also high does of vitamin D3+K2 daily
thanks for your comment - not "NEEDED" but depending on the individual they may help for sure. There are alot of boxes to tick to live an optimal life but once one is committed to ticking more and more positive ones the bad ones disappear themselves. When it comes to sleep the pre sleep routine and sleep hygiene, sleep environment and device exposure decides it all. When one changes these areas sleep dramatically improves as does all areas of life - it is that important to our overall functioning.

Hi dave I plan to do ironman cork next year if it comes back please god. Right now, my standard is: 1500m swim : 50 mins ( i can swim longer than 50 mins but i do slow down.) Run: i can run a marathon, but slow (5hrs) Bike: im slow on the bike, but can rack up distance slowly. With my above stats, is ironman cork possible in in 15 months time, with good hard training ?? Thanks for any help you could give.
Yes it will be interesting to see if it comes back. I hope so as a great Ironman and great for Ireland. Let’s see if it comes back That’s all great re the 3 disciplines. You are in good condition and that’s a good foundation to have for Ironman. Set yourself a time target of 9-12 months and work towards its increasing your distances on each and then adding brick sessions (back to back of 2 disciplines in case didn’t know ) and then building speed. Your goal will be to finish Ironman not the time so this will help bigtime. Hope that adequately answers your question. Feel free to ask me anything anytime
@@homeworkoutsystem dave thanks very much for your reply, much appreciated. Do you mind of I ask you : anyone who trains for/completes an ironman, do you think they are at the level of ""athlete""?? and also, what would a weekly training look like for someone training for a full ironman?? For example a peak training week, when the person is training their longest and hardest sessions, Monday-Sunday?? Again thanks for your help, I look forward to hearing back with your advice.
@@na-dk9vm anyone who competes at any level of any sport is an athlete. Remember it is all relative. We are all competing in our own "ironman" as an athlete no matter our fitness level. Re what weekly training plan look like the answer would be far too detailed to put here but the basics would be that each week needs include swimming. bike(spinbike/turbo/road), running and resistance training and prioritiising stretchign too importantly. Each week build up the distances and include brick sessions. Make sure to take at least one rest day and more if volume high. My pleasure re advice as happy help. Feel free always to ask me questions or let me know topics you'd like me disucss in my videos

looks delicious! Keep up the good work and good luck at your race! I'll be cheering you on!
Sure was yum - I love my food and apart from ensuring it’s super nutritious I make sure it’s delicious and I look forward to it. Healthy eating can and should be incredibly tasty and satisfying. Thanks so much for best wishes. Will you be here for event ?
@@homeworkoutsystem unfortunately I will not. But the event is on my bucket list. I hope to one day.
@@2ndTri pity you can't make this event but make sure to plan to tick it off your bucket list. The key is taking action. Commit to a year you will compete and then do whatever it takes to make it reality. Have a plan. If Plan A can't happen for some reason then move to Plan B. Don't wait for perfection as doesn't exist - make sense? Thanks for best wishes - I really appreciate
@@homeworkoutsystem oh, I completely agree. The problem is.. I already have other races planned 🤣 but, after I get them done I’ll look elsewhere.
@@2ndTri fantastic you have races planned. What races are you doing?
Good luck with the training 👌
thanks so much - appreciate you taking time to send that - I have such mixed emotions about my first ironman, especially after a number setbacks curtailed alot of my training plan - scared, frustrated, excited and looking forward to crossing finish line lol
LOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOLOL Dude you are not going to go far.
Explain your comment and add some value. I welcome it. Personal criticism without substance hold zero value. Please share what stimulated that comment and let's have an adult discussion vs meaningless attack
Great Tips Dave!!!🏃🏽♀️
glad you liked the tips and found that they made sense. Focus on implementing one or two at a time and just keep up that process of being committed to evolving into a better version of you every day
Hope it went well✌️
all great - love doing events and having opportunity to educate and hopefully positively impact audiences
Thanks Dave
my pleasure - hope it all made sense
Dave love this! Feeling I have been a Busy Fool for most of this year!
you wouldn't be alone - most people are and never change. The key is self awareness and consciously pressing the stop button time to time and reflecting and asking yourself if you are making the best use of your precious time and if you are actually prioritising what you need to. Keep doing your best

Brilliant discussion. Just to pick up on the B12 point. People who eat ‘organic’ beef are far more likely to be B12 deficient than those eating a vegan diet. If the organic beef isn’t getting B12 from the soil (due to soil destruction caused ironically by animal agriculture run off) & isn’t being fed fortified feed or injected (it can’t be to be classified organic) then it has very little chance of meeting our B12 RDA. Separately do you have a link to your interview with Jamie Annie? I’d love to hear that & share the clip where he wonders about what he could have achieved as a vegan. 🙏🌱💪🏼❤️
delighted you enjoyed this Doug and thank you for taking the time to listen.Great point on the B12 /- thanks for adding. That clip of Annie/Jamie would be great to hear for sure.
