There are two ports in the pump outlet (water room), the one on the left is for drainage, and the one on the right is connected to the radiator below. Any header is fine, but you need to put the header pwm mode and set it to 100% in the bios. There is a button on the remote that switches the pump from "auto" mode where the pump speed is dictated by the bios setting, and a "manual" mode where the pump can be adjusted by the remote control.
