yes! never let people's close-minded perceptions dictate what you wear or how you want to express urself! judgemental people like that show a lack of intelligence and probably live in a bubble imo. it's IGNORANT and arrogant of her to assume she knows the reason behind how YOU dress and like to do things. these people believe that their stereotypical shitty perception of someone is truth when the reality is a lot of the time it's not that deep and some people just like what they like! they're not trying to be anyone or anything but themselves. it's wild to me that ppl like that don't stop and think that perhaps, they just dont get it! and that other people have different style inspirations/backgrounds/philosophies! u look so pretty by the way! the hair slays!!

Actually, it looks pretty stupid to wear makeup on some days and then not wear it on others. When the make up becomes who you are, you should maintain it. If you show up without make up some days, it’s like you got up late or spent the night at someone else’s house or something. Pretty stupid of that lady to say that you don’t have to wear make up every day. She was just jealous.

Actually the opposite happened to me. I hate makeup because of how it feels on my skin and it just feels weird and uncomfortable for me, not to mention the time it takes. Meanwhile almost every other girl i knew walked around with a face full. Never said anything, but one of them had the nerve to be like 'you look unprofessional as hell without makeup'. And i told her she looks insecure with it as a clapback i guess. I already wasnt having it that day and i didnt wanna deal with her. Mind you it was a jab towards her after she came at me. It was not to anyone else around her wearing makeup. I dont care if you DO like makeup, dont shame those who dont. And for those who DONT like makeup like myself, dont shame others who do. If they come at you first it may be juatified, but doing it unprovoked is uncalled for.

I never understand when people act like another person's appearance is any of their business. Sometimes, a person's personal choice is detrimental to the people around them (such as listening to loud music in public without headphones or leaving the house stanking) but when it's their choice of clothes, accessories or makeup .... Mind your business! It's not affecting you in any way...

The exact opposite where I work. The comments you receive when bare-faced are: 1.)"You know you are meeting clients, right?" 2.) "At least you ironed your clothes." 3.) "I can help you. I know how even the simplest tutorial videos can be so intimidating." You did not ask for help before this.
