Hi love 💕 thank you for watching. So back in the day when I purchased a handheld steamer, this brush came with it. I’ve had it for literally 10+ years. It’s stiff but doesn’t pull my hair out, doesn’t have those beads at the end that also pull hair out.. it’s just a good brush. Something similar is the detangling brush (I’ve linked it in my description for you. Scroll all the way to the bottom to find it 🫶🏽) I hope that helps.

Yessss! I remember back in the day when we used to go to the salon, they would hide the products they used from us 🤣 It took us a while to learn but we finally got it. Clarifying shampoo when needed Moisturizing shampoo Deep conditioning or just a great conditioner Styling products and tools. The more you know 🥰💗🤗

😅 i’m just happy that we have so many options for natural hair. Absolutely clarify shampoo, then moisturizing shampoo and then a deep conditioner. This is what I do especially with my wash and gos and when I say my hair has been flourishing 🎉🎉🎉🎉🎉 girl it has. I keep up with my trims and protein treatments as well. Nothing like it. I wish we had known these things sooner.

Really? I’m not in the most humid area but I’d love to know what to use if I was going to like Miami for example. What do you use? 👀

@gentlestormwyatt I have used Ecoslay in the past but am currently using Obia naturals curl enhancing custard or the new Ennba Naturals gel.

Sure 🥰 I started with the gloves because I had a split in one of my nails. It kept snagging on my hair so boom, gloves saved my hair 😂 Now, I use gloves because I am protecting my nails from absorbing too much water and for the duration of my wash days. I also feel like I get the best wash days when I use gloves as the conditioners especially slip so well when doing my hair. Sometimes I need to feel my hair though so I’ll take them off and put them back on throughout my wash day. 💋💋 I hope this helps. 🫶🏽✨

@@gentlestormwyatt oh wow that’s amazing! I’ve tried that mousse with the big poppa gel and it dried out my hair. I’m definitely going to re-try the mousse with the base gel at some point🙌🏽

Here’s a tip. I wash and deep condition (with heat) before most of my wash and gos. Since these are gel and mousse products, they can dry your hair out if you’re not doing the necessary steps before and after a w&g. I also try to do a different style in between a few w&g’s. Oh no. How are you prepping before the stylers? 👀 that could be one factor for the dryness. Another could be that you have a dry texture (like me) and with dryer textures, we have to reset the hair (washing/co-washing) and adding moisture back into the hair. So instead of waiting a week, maybe once you feel your hair getting dry, it’s time to restyle. 💗💗 I’m going to do a video on this soon. But thanks for watching curl friend. 🫶🏽🫶🏽🫶🏽
