is there a schematic?
@@ferrocerium123 yes on one of my posts
WOW keep up the good work:D
You can make this tesla coil in musical?
Wow its so nice👍🏻 Please share schematic🙏🏻
Okay there’s no way that’s 240w, that’s crazy impressive, what’s the base frequency?
I never measured the current but the power supply shuts off before reaching 240W
It was 9MHz
@@dumpmboy64 I'm waiting for my power supply to arrive so I can actually see the power draw of the circuit 😔
@@ethanslab7670 jeez it’s almost as fast as a 1.5kw current multiplier induction heater
@@ethanslab7670 The video isn’t sped up right? If so I think you’re are on track on a new generation of induction heater
Do you know what happened at the beginning when it looks like the steel heated up quickly for a brief moment?
@@YSPACElabs the power leads weren't connected properly and quickly disconnected
Can you use 120v or 220v for MOSFET?
@@juanidilalla4483 you mean the input voltage?
@ethanslab7670 yes
@@juanidilalla4483 it seems like a bad idea to use such a high input voltage and I doubt it's possible for most silicon MOSFETs to handle
@@ethanslab7670 i have an Tesla coil with 2 transformes in series, 72v+50v for 125v aprox and i have 12cm of spark with single MOSFET Slayer ecxiter but i need BEST circuit for more power, i need the schematic for this please
Full schematic correct?
I'm so happy to see a proper push pull out there lol. Awesome build.
Good job, nice
Wow i never taught on makeing one with one of thoose transformers!
Good arc with small secondary
Schematic?
Можете предоставить схему?
Schematic pls
how do i make the interupter?
@@ferrocerium123 just do a bit of research to find out, it's easier than asking me
@@ethanslab7670 oh i mean for this circuit
@@ferrocerium123 I always use the 555 timer based interrupter
@@ethanslab7670 how do you connect them? is it always going to be output of the power supply to input of the interrupter and the output of that goes into the input of the circuit? and can it be any 555 driver or does it need to be for tesla coils specifically?
@@ferrocerium123 I recommend you just learn the stuff yourself, no point in making a circuit if you don't learn anything from it.
do you have to turn the pot every time you turn it on?
can a normal zvs drive make a hfsstc?
@@ferrocerium123 not a normal ZVS driver, but it can be modified to
@@ethanslab7670 how? can you make a tutorial or something like that? is it just the capacitor? i think thats what changes the frequency
@@ferrocerium123 using a feedback capacitor and biasing the gates
does it have an interrupter in the diagram? the arcs i get are 5amps and 30v are short and Continuus fuzzy arcs
a continuous output will always be like that, only with some sort of interrupter the output will be pointy
@@ethanslab7670 are you using an interrupter?
@@ethanslab7670 can you make an interrupter circuit then?
ok i finished makeing this circut! now i will try it:)
That looks absolutely deadly, but somehow it’s harmless, yet you can see less of an electric current that is deadly in a different case.
I don’t understand how you can get electricity to pop in the air like this, but it not shock you like a taser
@@gsxroyce256 the carrier frequency is very high like 2MHz and it's too fast for human nerves to respond to. The pop sounds come from the output being pulsed on and off, the electricity heats up the air quickly like a mini explosion every single pulse.
@ not that I understand, but thanks for explaining. It’s very confusing to me. I usually can get an understanding of most things. I understand all physics very well. But I can’t wrap my head around this. I didn’t know you can have an electric pulse strong enough to see and still not feel the current. I didn’t know a difference in mhz could make it a different experience despite the visual effects
I have made this ruclips.net/video/MWlDGUHWMXw/видео.htmlsi=319aYDam-2H0kfuO but i don't know where to connect the bottom of the secondary can you help? you seem to be a sstc expert :)

if there is a capacitor in seires with the primary is this a drsstc?
@@ferrocerium123 if the primary and secondary LC tank have the same resonant frequency then yes
@@ethanslab7670 ok
@@ethanslab7670 i am using a 100nf cap but it does not work well even with all your troubleshooting tips should i change the value ?
@@ferrocerium123 the value of that capacitor doesn't really matter since it's not a DRSSTC anyways, it just serves as a DC blocking capacitor here
Pls tutorial
for 100nf cap that is on the drain how does the capacitance change the circut like how does a smaller capacitance vs biger capacitance change the circut?
what is the max amperage?
I REQUEST TUTORIAL PLS
can i use a normal zvs driver to make a tesla coil like just a normal every day amazon zvs?
@@ferrocerium123 it's possible but not recommended, they dont use secondary coil feedback so it's harder to tune and also those standard ZVS drivers won't be very efficient at the frequencies which Tesla coils work at. I really strongly discourage using those standard ZVS drivers for a Tesla coil unless you know how to make it work
@@ethanslab7670 oh well can you make a fullbrige zvs driver? how do you even start making these sstcs? like do you fundamentally understand all this and just be like h i know how to do that and is able to come up with a schemetic in your head?
can you help me make a vttc?

@@ethanslab7670 are u willing to try?

you should make a sstc with like alot of irf640ns so it looks crazy like your making some uhhhh well idk but it would be cool to have like 6 irfp640ns in one cirut that work together to have the power of a gaint fet
@@ferrocerium123 IRF640Ns kinda suck, I have a bunch of them but I probably won't use them for anything yet
@@ethanslab7670 oh well have you tried to make a vttc ?
Nice, now you can add some chemicals to give it different colors like an actual star
I can't find those toroidal cores is there an alternative?
For the one connected on the drain it doesn't matter what type of inductor or what value, I've connected it straight to VCC before and it still worked. The transformer at the gate can't be replaced though
Howwww 😮😮😮😮
where did you learn to make these i don't know where to start
Magneticitist had a vid which included the schematic on a piece of paper and that's where I started making these type of Tesla coils, good luck with finding that video since i don't have the link for it and I haven't been able to find it either
@@ethanslab7670 oh well

the curvy arcs are crazy how do you push transistors to make these?
@@ferrocerium123 I used SiC FETs because they can switch a crazy amount of power but I'm pretty sure normal MOSFETs can be used too, I've seen people use IRF640Ns and get crazy arcs
