I stayed in the Strat in 2019. I'm planning on going to Las Vegas next June. I wanted to stay in the Linq, but one of the friends going wants to stay in the Luxor. As it's his 60th, I have to let him have his way.

fun fact; many many years ago... somebody, well, not such a fun fact I guess but a fact... somebody jumped from one of these levels, maybe having a bad day at the tables or something like that bad week... (FYI; in America, committing suicide or trying to is a popular pasttime and Las Vegas is the Aokigahara of the southwest)

I had the joy of booking a Luxor, slanted window room on a "inclinator" level during a rain storm. The window leaked through the AC unit. We called to ask for a different room that didn't leak, and we were casually told that all of the rooms with inclined windows leak when it rains. Although I love the rooms there, never book one of them if it's raining. Also, when I stayed, the view down to the "casino" floor showed the roofs of the structures below, that idiot guests (I'm assuming teenagers) use to throw wads of bubble gum, drink cups and trash onto. It was a rather disgusting view. Hopefully, Luxor has cleaned that mess up by now. The view you showed was so limited (and dark) that it was hard to see if it was still a mess looking down. But, I hope not.

I stayed at Luxor precovid in 2019, the rooms needed to be updated, the beds were sagging, half the elevators were broken my husband had to take the stairs, we did not enjoy it, going back to Vegas in October staying at the new resorts world one to see Katy Perry.

Have stayed at the Luxor many times though usually in the Tower rooms. Luxor is convenient to many other properties and attractions and several good food options nearby. Rooms have always been clean and comfortable at a fair price. Will stay again.

What'd you do to get an upgrade? Or did you have to pay? Reason I ask is I'm headed there with some buddies in a few months and we don't want to get screwed over with a terrible room lol

I’ve stayed at Luxor while living there. It was one of the cheaper rooms in the strip. Under $100 years ago. An interesting hotel now is The Artisan. It’s unique. Isn’t a Spa or Resort. But it is in an easy to get to location beneath the highway next to the strip.

Buy the book that’s at the Mob in Museum, and the guy did not jump. He was showing off for his girlfriend, and he slipped.

They have suites with huge tubs right next to the window! Those are Very Nice! I haven't been yet though...

Heard this place has a great poker room. Was actually planning on staying here just for that.

Back in 2004- I stayed in a pyramid room. The shower then was an open level floor with no ledge. Flooded bathroom every time I took a shower. Horrid design back then, glad they at least corrected that!

We stayed there pre covid and it was great for the price. Inside it looks much bigger than looking at it from outside.
