Just watched it and while it had potential, but they made bad decisions with where the story went especially with Hal so nah 5/10

I think at 11 is interesting concert, but I don’t think it’s that well fresh out God I don’t even like that much of the idea as it has

I thought Nate was Paul, the guy that nobody likes from "The Amazing Spider-Man", cause its the guy in the middle of the relationship, but turna out it wasnt him. Hope Nate isnt too bad.

Loving this story so far tho, the marriage was fun, the back story was fun, even the back up stories that I usually don't pay too much attention to was a blast

I think it made sense for Hal to go to the authority on the matter as the last resort after trying things his own way tbh. He may hate the counsel but i can see him realising with as little numbers as they had at the time, it was better to have Tharros get taken care of bu them instead of a small uprising

They have changed how Kyle is written. He wasn't a Sissy back in the day.

Another great video Dan! Thank you. This series really has a slow burn to it, but in a good way. Adams is setting some really interesting plot threads that are developing well. He also interjects a lot of fun in his stories. I'm so glad he's making Carol relevant again. I like her being back in the Star Sapphires. It would be really cool to see her in a position like Rayner was having to carry and save an entire corps. The Gardner/Lobo backups look really funny. Guy's flattop hairstyle is something else. Also want to thank you reading off the credits before you dive into the issue. We are so writer focused these days, that is my biggest draw, but the artists of these books deserve all the credit for bringing their ideas to life. Take care and peace everyone.

This series is going to have to do some really great with Hal and Carol to justify them getting back together, I'm so tired of the endless breaking up and getting back together, especially when Hal has done nothing to prove that this time is going to be different and he's actually going to fully commit to a relationship with Carol.

Take whatever time you need to get there but I've been dying to know your thoughts on #13 and now the little tease at the end of WJ #12. With a GLs seemingly a big part of the new movie universe, I'm starting to think the good times returning for GL fans are just around the corner! The time is right for a TOTGLC anthology series, DC! DO IT! DO IT NAAAAAAAW! Also: Guy's hair looks like you could pop it off and pour yourself a drink.

not to mention the kicker of the cosmic odyssey part is that john tries to off himself with a yellow gun

can green lanterns potentialy make there own central power batery if they needed to?

you I never cared about the omega men before this series. it's a shame tom king has so fallen far from grace

Guardians are little miscreants and I can see why it can be tiring but they are trouble makers and set up to be a antithesis to the ideals of a GL. Their Skelton closet is bigger than all of Mogo at this point.

Kyle also had Alex Nero. The legacy of Sinestro's ring given to a person with schizophrenia.

I can't believe Robert Vinditti wrote Kyle as the weak 'sissy' Green Lantern. He really ignored what Kyle did in the past.

I just read Zero Hour 30th anniversary! What a powerhouse of an issue. It left me overall confused. Hal has continued to appear even after his defeat in GL:Rebirth. Convergence Green Arrow GL Renegade and Tellos all feature Hal as Parallax? Did more than one Parallax emerged during Emerald Twilight? I mean batteries do have multiple charges. How come you've never covered 'the last testament of the GL Corps vol.1. It sounds pretty major and important.

Thanks Dan! Great video as always. The best part of this story is John's mom and the struggles she's going through. PKJ is really good at creating these big cosmic epics while still keeping in touch with the humanity of the characters in his story. It makes sense that the Guardians, and even the Controllers, are the cause of so many problems across the universe. They are one of the first species in existence. And they have tried to play god so much that that does nothing but create huge problems. Can't wait to see how this all ends. Take care and peace.

I heard the sinister sons book was good but I completly agree that the backups were a waste of time, but what can you expect from peter j tomasi

I found far sector to be a bit boring and flat. It did not help that nothing about it was recognizable as DC. I was expecting something similar to Star Trek's Voyager, but got a story that may as well not have been Green lantern at all.

What are your thought on lanterns using two emotions simultaneously through two distinct rings? There have been instances where John,Guy,Hal and others have done it, but i’m interested to see whether you think this could exist in a future status quo where lanterns kind of mix and match emotions and rings and possibly belong to two corps simultaneously . ( just for clarity not what kyle did before or after becoming a white lantern)

Thanks Dan! Great review. This series is shaping up to be a great G.L. run. I love how Adams is doing his own thing while incorporating all the human lanterns and still dealing with the emotional spectrum. I hope Larfleeze breaks out and starts raising some hell! Take care and peace.

You know, i think tgere's only two conclusions for Kyle's arc. An epic death, sacrificing himself or something. Or, what i'm hoping for, he gets his own series or mini.

I liked how, besides Alan and John, who have their own books, this issue had every single Green Lantern from Earth. Hal, of course, but also Guy, Kyle, Simon, Booster, Jess, Jo, and even Keli

you're pretty far behind that's not lobo, long story but it's explained in house of brainiac the first issue is consequentially where this back up story ends btw
