THINGS TO DO- Ambergris Caye, Belize // Couples Adventures, Family-Friendly Travel
We had the opportunity to take our good friends and share with them all the things we love about Ambergris Caye, so we wanted to also share it with you. We stayed at our favorite resort on the island at Portofino Beach Resort. We went snorkeling, explored the island, went fishing with our favorite boat Captain Chito, did some shopping, and ate some of the best food on the island. We compiled a list of MUST-DO things so you know where to start when you visit. We really hope you do. You won't be disappointed, I promise.

Not all of our adventures involve travel. Sydney finally got her very first deer and it was a nice buck. She was so excited and so was her dad. She shot it with her @tenpointcrossbows. We took an extended family trip to the beautiful White Mountains in New Hampshire. We stayed at an Airbnb in Lincoln, NH which was a great location to see and do everything we wanted to do. We had a blast going apple picking at Weaver's Orchard and we ended the week with trick-or-treating and a Halloween parade in the beautiful town of West Chester, PA. That trip was in early October I believe. It’s considered their slow season. But to us it just means less crowded.

I would say at least 5 days is needed to do all the things you might want to do. But if you could go for a full week or more you would have time to relax in between adventures.

It was actually spring. We went in May, but they had a long winter so it was colder then normal for that time of year.

Wow! Thank you. Unfortunately in this day and age people get offended that we are teaching our kids these skills. I agree, they are learning very valuable lessons being out in the woods.
Fantastic!!! This reminds me of taking my daughters hunting. They still hunt 30 years later. Man did we have a great time. Take your kids hunting and make memories of things you did together. They and you will remember the experience but nobody remembers a good time watching the idiot tube.
