It's the Hired help the molds that produce those parts, got to be cleaned once in awhile obviously they were not, that's where you get flash over and lousy workmanship. I kind of like Tamiya I built a Bismarck from their kit, and it came out awesome I even added the swastika, on the deck, that they did not include. 😜👍

I remember back in the late 1960s making various models. In junior high school we had an after school model club… we also raced slot cars. Fun times.. also remember having to have a note from your parents before they would sell you a tube of glue.

A modeler who has been building for years knows that instructions are more like "suggestions," and only used if you need to reference an unknown location for a part.
