Agreed. It’s very hard to find a car this old with good paint. It also helps having a bright green car when bigger cars don’t normally see me 😂

If you want to get technical it DOES put drag in the form of downforce. And the look of the car is just as important as anything else in my book or else I wouldn’t have painted the car :) not a waste of time in my eyes.

@@helpmeboonmee To each his own. I like the colour but I wouldn't want to add additions to the bodywork like splitters, spoilers and wings without understanding their handling implications. The MX5 is a mightily able handling car and the main reason I drive one. But everyone's needs are different. As long as you have fun and get out of the car what you want, I suppose that's all that matters..

Everything is still holding on! Just make sure all the surfaces are prepped properly and screw into the pre existing holes. But then again, if anything falls off, it was a cheap eBay part right? Haha

It was black caulking I found at Home Depot. I believe it was for roofing. So it can handle drastic weather and UV rays.

@@helpmeboonmee That's what I like about this solution so much, I want a loud fun exhaust but I was going to compromise and buy a middle of the road exhaust because I don't want it too loud all the time. This is a great option for what I want!

It isn’t OEM but it came with the hard top. You can also buy the moulding. It’s called a hardtop seal and i think it’s for sale on moss Miata or flying Miata

Thanks! I appreciate it. I say do a cold air snorkel intake IF you are actually getting cold air. If it's just a cone filter, I think you can get the same power from a performance air filter. The cone filter just allows more air and that can be achieved by the box filters as well. Hopefully that helps!

@@helpmeboonmee Isn't there a phone app that has a virtual dyno feature? I've never used it but it sounds useful.

@@mostlyuselessgarage I’m not sure I’ve heard of it, I may have to take a look and possibly redo all of my intake mods if there is one!

It is honestly one of the most noticeable mods I’ve made for the chassis and it has made a huge impact on the handling. Highly suggest it. The lav mic makes it soooo much easier and I don’t have to worry about the wire or the transmitter. Only issue is it’s a little pricey. If it’s in the budget, go for it!

They’re great! No water leaking in, which I had problems with before. If you don’t do some sort of waterproofing, they’ll get water in them guaranteed. I went through 3 sets of these before waterproofing and now they’re great.

The roof has had no issues. I did mention that I would put caulking on the rear spoiler and since then, I have. I would highly suggest caulking all of those parts but they’re holding up great!

You’re right! I am nit picking. That’s the way these trends go 😂 I still love this car.

I mean I’m biased and love my M2C and I’ve also never driven the Supra. BUT I assume they’re very similar. I’ve heard that some enjoy the Supra over the M2 but I like the way the M2 looks more and it’s has a really good platform for performance upgrades. I guess it really comes down to how long you can stand kids saying your Supra is a BMW 😂 but I say M2C all the way.

@@chrisginoc the only time that I’ve heard it being an issue is when people have tuned their cars further than stock. I haven’t seen or heard of anyone having issues when stock but we could probably make the same argument for the B58 once it’s tuned. I don’t plan on tuning anytime soon but if I’m comparing both cars stock I would get the M2

If it were me I would definitely choose M2 over the Miata. Mainly because it can do basically everything a Miata can do, while the Miata can’t do everything an M2 can do. I also don’t even plan on putting a turbo on my Miata anytime soon because there’s so much that has to be added to get close to the performance of the M2. I say get an M2 if you can and keep the Miata as a fun slow car.

@@mariusbrinzaru8137 just in drivability. It takes a lot for a Miata to get what the M2 has. It’s also got a lot more comfort and more room for growth in performance in general.

Sorry about that! I forgot to record it and I actually found that my fuse box is actually from a NB Miata. It would be confusing for most. Hopefully you can use google and figure it out how that sits.

@@Drew-The-Philosopher...no, ride a motorcycle. plenty of 250cc super motard bikes that would dust the miata and be just a fun w/o going huge. even the 125cc Honda Grom would give plenty of smiles per mile (up to 55 mph).
