Guiding a Kenshi first timer is fun to watch... ah, that brand new fresh out the hub feeling 😊

Kenshi is an easy game, once you know whats up... and whats up is this: In any other RPG, you start out weak, but strong enough to beat the weakest of foes. In Kenshi you start weaker than the weakest foes, and go from there. In other words - your early game is artificially extended by starting with guy(s) that have 0-1 in stats and go up against hungry vermin with 5-8 in stats. As for tips (in no particular order): -Beak things - dont fight them before your stats are in mid 20s, and never box 20 of your guys and throw them at a single beak thing. 2 is enough, especially if you position them on the opposite ends of the critter. If possible, fight them 1vs1. -Dont starve. -Early on, drag enemies to the town guards. This will make it possible to both get some swings and hits in, improving your stats, as well as the opportunity to loot the KOd characters. -Choose the weapon type a character will be using throughout the game early, as you will want that proficiency up as soon as possible. -The only armor that counts is the standard (blue) one. Spending money on anything below that is a waste. -Know your enemy. Vast majority of foes are harmless - even if youre beaten, chances are the worst thing that will happen is they will take your food or toss you outside the building/base they own. Some of them will have you for breakfast or turn you into a fancy coat, though... -Dont fuck with herbivores before you don the heaviest armor. Many have died to goats... trust me. -Always spread your guys out before a fight, and assign the idle ones to already ongoing fights - the AI is highly exploitable in this regard, and can be baited to attack someone, just to get flanked like a bitch in turn. As an added bonus - keeping your guys spread out means you wont get a number of them hit, when an enemy makes a sideways swing. -Playing Forrest Gump is safer than fighting everything in your path. If you dont feel like the fight is going your way, or just dont want to fight - run. -Issuing the "hold" command to your characters might make them become unresponsive to nearby threats, but also prevents them from chasing after off-screen targets, or things you didnt even see, aggroing them in turn. Especially important command for when youre fighting (generally understood) kidnappers. -If youre looking for a challenge - try fighting the anti-slavers. Best weight loss plan in existence, assuming you survive...

Average Ark scenario playthrough, I once had 20 Automatons which was way too much, I genuinely had to donate them because I don't know what to do with them at this point lol, this scenario is the easiest, super easy compared to the base game, the refugees, and fall of Winterhome, oh my God that scenario makes my brain bleed.

Stealth is a super important skill, especially early on. You can sneak past bandit packs or beak things that would otherwise end you .

shryke has a fogmen radar like miu's spider radar + she is a scorchlander wich is one of the best races. sabers and hackers are both better then katana's unless ur fighting unarmored humans.

The prologue is really great because it's let you see a bit of what to come and teach you the basic... but just the basic, nothing else. (Also,heat bonus is maxed after 3 tiles, it only work when the tiles you want to build upon is blue)

Seto's recruitment is not an arranged marriage thing, you get her if you bring the bugmaster to the shek. Her mother The Stone Golem asks you to train her to fight because taking down the bugmaster makes you canonically one of the most powerful groups on the continent.
