I am probably going to reiterate what everyone else has said in these comments but I still find it necessary to personally thank you for this information. i've been using Kontakt Player for ages and this has been a continual frustration that I knew I could achieve this but couldn't find a way to do it. Nor could I see any reasons why it couldn't be done as I had seen evidence that it had been achieved by others. Anyhow thanks man. NI don't make it easy for us sometimes but videos like yours make a big difference especially if you are new to these kinda things..

maybe im just dumb but kontakt is unnecessarily complicated to configure, ive had it 2 yrs and still dont know the F it works

If you lower the group channel fader, does it change the balance for your Stage Reverb and VST instruments? Or do the individual sends get lowered at the same time? Thank you!

Quick question. I see you have adjusted your gain knobs on each individual track. Is there a specific peak you are wanting to hit with each instrument and track with your gainstaging?

Well keep going… Does this mean I don’t have to open multiple instances of contact in order to have separated devices? What I usually do is open multiple instances of contact just to separate the bass from the drum from the synth. I want to be able to separate my drum into individual track coming from one instance of kontact. Make a video about that please

Hey Joshua is there a way to use negative track delay in conjunction with sound variations?

Thx great description, but I cannot get this to work with two separate stereo tracks only??? Kontakt can be soooo frustrating!! I’ve done everything you showed, but it only plays the instrument in my daw.

@Joshua Day Thanks for sharing the solution. After tweaking a bit more I found that setting the "sound card/host output" to "Kt. st. 1 [1]" , then setting out 28 stereo outputs and afterwards routing the 4 aux to outputs 57 to 64 is the best solution. All the 28 stereo outputs + the 4 AUX available at all times. Otherwise, every time you create a new stereo output for a new module in Kontakt, one of the existing stereo outputs get turned into mono. I cannot explain this strange behavior. And when not all 28 outs are needed, just turn them off in your DAW.

nice template Joshua,however,why not save RAM by deactivating every instrument (track) and only activating the ones you need instaid of only cinesamples,that way you wont have those cracle and pops,cheers Joshua
