USA English: Even though "cannot" may be proper, it's rarer to see than "can't." "Cannot" tends to be regarded as being overly formal. 🤓

Hello. I am sorry that I haven't said "happy new year" yet. You became to take care of your self more. Avoiding sugar will give you a good effect. I also decided to avoid sugar two years ago. I stop to have sugary drinks like coke and sweet snacks. And I reduced 5 kg for 6 months. Now my fat ratio is around15%. Coffee is a good drink. I like it. Why don't you decide a maximum number of cups for coffee. It's two or three a day for me. I always have a cup of coffee by myself in the morning. I never use sugar with coffee, and sometimes use milk. I recommend you a movie, "あまくない砂糖のはなし(That sugar film)". It's a documentary movie. I realized the fear of sugar.

I'm a bit late but Happy New Year ! 明けましておめでとうございます。 All of the phrases you explained in this video are really useful in conversation. Expanding on "It sounds too good to be true" or alternatively "It seems too be good to be true", these days we often hear that when warning us to be wary of adverts. "If something sounds too good to be true, then its probably a scam". It can also have a positive meaning though, it all depends on what the thing is. For example: 1) I receive an email telling me to click a link to get a large tax refund. 2) an advert which is offering a new iPhone for 100 pounds when the retail price is usually over 800 pounds. 3) an advert which guarantees high stock market or other returns for no risk. 4) an advert for a health product which guarantees to help lose a lot of weight in a very short period of time. 5) a friend tells you that during January, your local cinema is offering free child tickets and adult tickets at half price 6) the government announces a new public holiday Every one of the above examples "sounds too good to be true", however to me the first four would likely be scams, phishing attempts or false advertising, whereas the fifth and sixth would likely be true.

The Spanish restaurant must be on the 10th floor of the KUTEN. I have gone there more than three times. I like its paella, too. I don't know the sweets of Sabrina. But it may be famous in Japan from the information of the internet. Well, I guess your husband likes waling with you during shopping. Because he encounters new products that he doesn't know.

That is awesome to hear about your daughter speaking English. It reminds me of my daughter (she's 4). She knows I'm studying Japanese and will often ask me what a English word is in Japanese. A while back, she asked how to count from 1 to 10 in Japanese. So I told her. And like a week later she counted from 1 to 10 in japanese (いち、に、さん、よん、ご、ろく、なな、はち、きゅう、じゅう) like she had been practicing it! I was so surprised and so proud of her.
