RACE REVIEW - SUB 1:45 HALF MARATHON
Races are tough, they’re bound to be! However, it’s always good to be able to look back and know you enjoyed the run too! 🌟
For so many races, I’ve run them ‘wrong’! I’ve gone out hard and suffered in the latter half. This race was different. I tried to keep an even pace throughout the race and honestly, it just made the race as a whole way more enjoyable!
If anyone has any tips and tricks on the best ways to pace/run longer races (half marathons and marathons) please let me know!!
I’m still over the moon with how the race went and the time I came out with 🎉 Bring on the next race!
If anyone else ran Swansea Half this year, or in previous years, let me know in the comments ⬇️ I hope you enjoy...

Swansea Half Marathon 2023 RACE VLOG
Просмотров 367Год назад
It’s fair to say that it was brutal! Combining the humidity, heat and running directly into the sun for the final 4 miles without any shade was tough!! However, we did it 🥳 Going in, I wasn’t too sure where my fitness was at. I hadn’t run a half marathon ‘as a race’ in around a year so it really was anyone’s guess 🤷🏼♀️ I’m super happy with how it went! Managed to run under 1:45 🌟 and didn’t en...

TATBILB Always & Forever Review 💌 & new Jenny Han series!
Am struggling with it it's so hard
I can feel you because I'm also an asthmatic it agrevated as I got older orelse it was a cough indused asthma in my childhood now I got severe . I can actually feel you... Even there's a myth with using inhaler that you'll get addicted to inhaler. But it's helping me. People should understand rather than mocking.
Hey i saw your video with the inhaler and spacer could you possibly make another video with it saying its normal please my little sister has one and is bullied for it it would mean so much thank you
Just came across your video. Was a super hot day. I enjoyed it that much that I've signed up for it again this year 👌
I get you
NOOOO AUDREYYY
I was diagnosed was back year 2013
You should use nexthaler which combo inhaler with steroid reliever all in one. With running do it slowly baby steps to strengthen lungs .
This book was an absoloute rollercoaster. I found myself completely immersed. The ending was a tad bit sudden and there wasn’t muscu closure in terms of Lewis. Overall tho great book
congrats on your race!
well done!! running in the sun sounds brutal
congrats on the race! must've be hard in the heat this recently!
I don't know if I have asthma but as a child I used to cough all night long. Since then it's been a good 15 years and now I feel that even at rest I feel stuffy and short of breath. I now have all the symptoms of non-allergic asthma apart from a cough because I don't cough now. And there was no asthma in the family
Loved this so much
Oioi good to see you uploading here again Jess
took a while but I’m finally back 🎉
@@JessWadey16 Great to see, followed your channel for a good few years now, always enjoyed your content
aw congrats on getting in! hope your training goes well
Thank you Connor 💙
I was an emotional wreck when i read this, i mean like- i was 12 why i read it then ? i have no idea. i saw this book in the young fiction area read the back of the book and was like WOW and when i read it i was like, WoAh. Jamie's backstory killed me god.
as an older asthmatic became asthmatic from Influenza it was was a happy night when they got me having 12 shots of the blue Ventolin and 8 shots of white Atrovent in half hour lots in the space of 2 hours.
She's back 🤗
lovely to see you pop up in my sub box again! so happy for you that you got in this year!
it’s been a long time but I’m hoping I’m here to stay! book content will be coming soon too :)
Awesome collection! This was such an awesome tour!
It is also connected with foods you eat: watch for preservatives in foods, bi sulfate, meta bi sulfate, dried fruits that are not organic, keep a food diary. bottled lemon juice, wines, grape juices. Be careful.
I'm so sick, came here for help. Everything bothers me. I got the same tube thingie. Sometimes I drink coffee to help. after meds. Both my parents had smoked until I was about 13. Go to take a hot shower if it gets bad. I have blacked out before, gone to the hospital. 🙁 The doctor told me I could die from it. You have to be careful.
Try yoga, meditation, eat a plant based diet and drink herbel teas, Blessed Be.
Thanks for review Love from India
How you been, you haven’t posted any content anymore. Hope everything is okay
Asthma is very scary and I feel your pain, I thought i was over it for years until I got 2 chest infections and the COVID, and now I haven't fully recovered and regularly have mini attacks. I am now taking 4 puffs of the brown one a day to hopefully recover. I wish you luck in the future!
I will never be happy again after reading that ending poor Audrey
The ending such a twist!!!! It was a good way to end the book. It was Ivy all along!!!! It's 1:52 am here in the uk, I finished the book a couple minutes ago and I'm still in shock at the ending!!!! I love both books and again that ending was great!!!!!
I love all the after movies and the after books too☺️❤️
I have just ordered this Christmas mystery bag. I already have some of soph and james' first collection and have the gorgeous green sweat from this year and a couple of tees and I live in them .. I also have a mix of small and medium and I'm 4ft 9 size 8 to 10 and I love both for different vibes. I ordered a small mystery bag this time, can't wait to see what I get . I do hope in the future they include one with accessories like hats because I would be all in for that too. Thanks for showing us what you got
That’s such a good shout, having a mystery box that included accessories etc! I hope you love what you get, I’m sure you will!!
@@JessWadey16 thanks, I got it today, a grey hoodie, red sweater and navy Tee live them, I don't wear red but it's Christmas so why not 😁
The ending of this one has taken the rug from under me I am still in denial that it happened
Good luck Hun does it matter how old r u to exercise
How can u sleep with ashma
Take steam inhalation and raise your pillows. Drink warm ginger tea. It should help.
@@manishak424 thanks 👍
Itss ivyyy my Name is ivyy
I HAVE ASTHMA TOO,I have 4 puffs a day,i go to school and run, but,i forget my inhaler, they called the ER and i have sever asthma ,,,,,,so,i feel terrible when i cant breath, and, its annoying to sleep with a puffed pillow
I absolutely loved both books they are so good, the ending honestly made my heart sink! It was so unexpected!
I would ask you something about her inhaler the brown inhaler does it prevent to have an asthma attack or just it doesn't work cuz I I use it for maybe 2 weeks it makes me comfortable but in the same time I had wheezing I never had it before so I have it a little a little bit tight in my chest but when I start the using the prevent inhaler as I see some symptoms like wheezing that I never had it before so my question here so I feel like the prevent inhaler does not prevent you have an asthma attack so I just want to make sure if I used to have Brown inhaler or preventing here and for long period of time that's going to affect me an opposite way that's why I scared about or worried about cuz the doctor it doesn't talk to you about the fact you will have in the long period of time of using the preventer so what do I do so should I use the preventer like everybody else or just go on would have to preventer even even though I have a little bit tired in my chest but I don't have wheezing
I’ve got asthma as well! I have 4 meds for my asthma. Ventolin of course, a combination medication which is two types of controller inhalers but in one, and then a pill that I have to take everyday. I’ve had peak flows at dr. Appointment but not at home I remember my worse experience being I was doing lifeguards as well. And I had been having rough asthma weeks around that time. I got out of the water because I knew something was wrong. The actual lifeguards thought it was nothing until they realised my blue inhaler wasn’t working. Like they called my parents and 911 after like 20 something puffs ( they didn’t follow protocol lol they should’ve done that way sooner) and I was getting very weak and pale from the attack, couldn’t speak. When the paramedics came, I had taken 30 something puffs of my inhaler because 911 had told us to keep giving it to me. I had oxygen and then a ventolin nebuliser. Finally it worked. Was feeling better but very jittery because of all the medication. Since I was feeling better, hospital discharged me but when I came home, the nebuliser had lost its effect and my attack just came back. Boy it was tiring
Good tips 😇🤞
that pizza looked so good, and you'll beat that marathon record one day im sure!! 😋
also i just film and edit on my phone too, other than memory issues i feel like its so much easier
Ooo I got the Windsor knot for Christmas! I’m looking forward to reading it!
Happy new year to you! 🥳
Happy New Year to you too 😚🎉
I like these vlog-type videos, though I watch all of them even if I don't always comment. My advice on the camera: I'd say stick to what you have for now. You can always upgrade and get a camera in the future if you wanted to.
That sounds like a plan! If I really get into making vlog style videos I can always upgrade later I guess
magic challenge please 💕
Get a cold for me = chest infection I’m on 4 inhalers a day + multiple tablets My peak flow is off the charts low my best is 300 it’s rubbish! I have to have steroids when it gets to 250 and hospital at 200 Thank you for highlighting asthma for all asthmatics and the biggest stereotypes! Which is everyone has asthma so everyone is fine! No the asthma ‘you’ or your friend has is probably mild asthma or they hide it well enough that you can’t tell they are struggling I can literally be wheezy all day and not one person notices because I don’t panic with wheezing anymore I can just put up with and the stigma and the staring of taking an inhaler is horrendous so I try and stretch it until I can take my inhalers without much staring Asthma literally kills people daily 3 people in the UK everyday and no one seems to take it seriously yes there are many other conditions that are generally worse But not breathing well enough = low oxygen = no oxygen to the blood to the heart or brain which could lead to death I also find asthma is PAINFUL when my chest is tight it hurts and I’m always achey after an attack even a ‘small’ one causes discomfort Personally my asthma is too severe to exercise like you can. I can go walking and swimming etc But I cannot run and I can’t over exert myself otherwise I will be in hospital most likely I have to exercise in a more gentle way if that makes sense Thank you thank you!!
One thing I’ve learnt is you have to assess your own asthma and do whatever makes things better for you. It’s definitely different for everyone so once you’ve found what helps, try and include it. This time of year is always the worst, so much flu around. Make sure you get a flu vaccine to try and help too! I hope things start to get a little easier for you ✨
@@JessWadey16 Yes I agree x I always have the flu jab always! x Thank you for sharing your experiences and shouting out that asthma isn’t easy!!! x thank you x
so sorry i have asthma to i know what it is like
It can be very difficult at times but it’s all about management and doing what works for you!
