This is wonderful and I hate to offer a comparison to the Epcot version....one of the things I love about the Epcot version is how it allows the eye to feast on the images. This version has rapid editing which detracts from the overall viewing.

I am only one minute in and am impressed with your update. You capture the same feeling and have paired the video to the sublime soundtrack perfectly.

I first saw it when I was 12 when it came out in the theaters. Saw it again in the theaters a few days ago at 52. E.T. is pure magic. All the stars and planets must have been aligned while E.T. was being shot cause it's a masterpiece. Still smiled and cried after 40 years. Looking forward to the 50th anniversary.
