Dark magician has had tons of support. Playable stuff in other themes, but decent overall. Blue eyes has been pretty much filler outside of 2016. Which was constructed for it to be the best. Expect DM later on . Red eyes DESPERATELY needs decent cards. Rush duel has plenty of good stuff.

@ Dm has been the same play style over and over circle eternal soul and summon out dark magician to banish any other variant of the deck isn’t even playable due to massive bricking and 0 recursion which isn’t even a dm deck at this point red-eyes also struggles in the sense where its play style never changed either and it’s sad to see that blue eyes can get an update on its play style but the other 2 can’t

@Jonathan_Luna I meant in the sense DM cards like Magicians Souls/ illusion has seen some play in other things. No blue eyes cards can say that. I think it's better to focus on one, make them good and competent. Than hurl generic old school support and it be more slop. This pushes Blue eyes to be meta. Let it have it's time. Then later in the year, the next DM stuff rise. Possibly another structure deck. Just because it didn't happen today, doesn't mean it never will.

Blue eyes support sucks though. Yah they have abit but most of it is so bad!

@@catsorafgc appreciate the comment bud I agree on the unicorn I will be swapping the ratios, I’ve been tempted for malefic but the kash field spell isint searchable so if I don’t draw it malefic is dead I will probably cut alternative and play a third meteor. How does tempest bridge kash to red eyes?

@ Tempest can send itself and a Unicorn to search Black Metal Dragon. The Unicorn in GY can also be used if you happen to have Birth in hand (plays like that are why I actually advocate for running it at 3 compared to any other amount). Also, if you’re willing to fit Dragunity Knight Romulus and a Dragon Ravine, Tempest can become the GY send, allowing it special summon itself by banishing monsters that don’t do anything. As for the field spell issue, look into the Blue-Eyes structure deck when it comes out. The link 1 searches a field spell that Red-Eyes quite likes, which also opens up synchro plays before you end up XYZ locked

@ I wouldn’t play the blue eyes link for the field spell as it’s a brick and you may as well just play striker and boot imo But tempest is a good shout I may change my ratios around and try add 2 copies in although I’ll have to play more birth to really get the benefit of discarding unicorn or tbh just specialing fenrir adding unicorn to then discard with tempest could also work, you’ve given me some good options so I’m going to get cooking! This is what we need to make red eyes meta everyone coming together with viable ideas 🙌

@ The field spell lets you dump Normals from your deck, even if you draw into it, you get a use. Boot sector does nothing unless if you ran a Rokket package. I do think it the link has a use case since it doesn’t lock you like Pisty does, and you’ll never use its effect

@ yeah I could swap it for pisty 100% but yeah I dump a red eyes but that doesn’t further my plays I’ll still need two level 7s to make a flare and then summon the red eyes, although it could be useful in primite red eyes 🤔

I think there’s better options than the dragon ruler and I don’t think my list generates enough card advantage to make Draco future

How many cards do you play in the deck?

@@SamArm31 i run in the 50-60 range depending on how many draws/handtraps i feel is necessary to grease the wheels, but it can get slimmed to 45 or so (w/handtraps) if need be

@@matteodibe5085 ravine is access to either tempest which is a free level 7 or you can send absorouter which gets you a rokket. Tempest is a free level 7 so you can make flare metal 😊

@@Danlight1911 yeah I think if you’re playing more rank 7 spam it doesn’t help with that, but for me I like different layers of interaction and more possibilities so it suits me more.

@@leafgreenbeast have you watched my other videos 👀 I totally agree my dude, seals into Albaz is a fantastic option if the opponent just normals then tries to combo rather than just hitting over the spheres!

@@leafgreenbeast yeah I was only joking bud, I learnt the albaz summon from another yt channel long ago 😅 and I decided on sprind, mj and rindbrumm as they are the best options if it’s just a small part of the deck

since i play a burn variant, hes a great sort of central guy, since fusion makes him named red-eyes b. dragon, so inferno fire blase deals 3500 a pop. i usually run more into the issue of never summoning slash dragon (esp. going first) since it's a fair bit more difficult to get an equip onto him for the negate without having also searched RE with chain precisely (in MD you can striker it in the striker->verte line, but that same line will deprive you of hieratic dragon, which can hold a ton of points of interaction by itself) this would of course a nonissue if they'd unban dragoon tho

@@chelseafcfanisy good point, I don’t think it matters much personally as you’ll have plenty of dragons in grave and obviously Romulus is a wind also. I’m not the biggest fan of rokket red eyes anyway I have something spicy coming up for us red eyes fans

@@ivankovacevic2450 I think the scrap stuff is win more now that there’s no savage or barrone so it’s not needed in my opinion, and crossout is a good option as we can play a lot of hand traps in the deck anyway you might want to look at doodle beast stego because if you get ash’d on ovi then you can at least special it and make s:p or something

Also the new Zoa is level 7 and can special summon itself.

@@pershingdoughboy i do like the new red eyes monster and the trap but I don’t think I’d play anything else maybe 1 zoa for a free body. I’m not a big fan of soul tbh and if you played archfiend it’s another brick in an already bricky deck. I’m just hoping they make a red eyes structure deck with finally some really good cards like what blue eyes is getting

@@pershingdoughboy I did sit and write some ideas out just wasn’t sure how popular of a video that would be, I would like another boss monster or fusion spell tbh ref just isint great as it locks you out of any other summon and red eyes need a better boss monster besides flare metal and dragoon

@@FingersCrossed dis pater can sorta work in place of baronne thanks to the bystials getting stuff into the banished zone (and is a dark/dragon/synchro for any potential resonator locks) also since i play largely in MD, baronne isnt banned there so he's still a viable option but yeah def not in paper

@@leafgreenbeast I don’t play red eyes much on md because there’s no alternative dragon. The problem with dis pater also is that you need you opponent to have banished cards to negate and unfortunately with the meta being very fire heavy it’s difficult to banish their cards

@@thebrainbag3506 no problem at all bud, I haven’t tried the equip version out tbh because it just seems a little slow and most of the locals in my area are very competitive. I do like the burn build and it is very funny but again is not the most competitive build I will hopefully do videos on each variant playing them at locals and filming them I’m just working on a good way to do it so that it’s entertaining and not too long

@@FingersCrossed I respect the grind. Local duels and running a youtube were two things I wanted to do growing up so I commend you for what you’re doing. And yea, the equip build is fun and cool if you can get the right cards, but yeah very slow, definitely could not compete. The burn mechanic is just too funny and I feel like the best option if you wanted to run strictly more red eyes cards
