I always thought there should be a system like that and even mini games around classes like in Bully. For example in potion class you would have to do some actions and if you fail you can break your cauldron or phial and have to buy new ones. This way you don't get too rich too quickly 😂 Afterall school supplies is a big part of the charm of the first book ! (Btw i also always thought there should be at least some lines exchanged with Sebastian or Ominis in some classes because some crazy stuff happens, he sits almost next to you in class and your characters just ignore each others it's crazy)

Yes needed this The base game is so bare bones, why can't devs get this right jk Rowling literally made a world where people want to go to school Just make a hogworts student simulator from year one to seven I honestly couldn't care less for the main quest in that game i was more engaged during the classes lol

Good damn work, guys! One other thing except classes, is how the f, there are not many easter eggs in the castle apart from some, when in the books, the castle itself is one big secret. Like there should be a ton of them to explore, and not the same 3-4 damn animations of the knight statues hitting each other. Come on, Portkey, didn't you read the books?!

I like the idea of homework being outside tasks or maybe a task needed for detention instead, like collect [x] items from the grounds/forest for herbology or potions stockroom. Creators missed an easy opportunity to incorporate a quiz aspect to the classes since the character is new and would need to catch up and it would give world details concerning the story or the magical world for new players. I was looking forward to interactive classes.

Just tested it and it fits pretty well with the game. However I don't like how there are classes every single day because you can't do missions happening at the same time, otherwise the game considers you missed class.

There are a few things that shouldve been different, like instead of upgrading a spell in the talent tree younwould have to attend defense against the dark arts class to lvl up your spells, instead of using the room of requirments for potion making you should have to attendbpotion classes to make potions, both regular ones and ones with upgraded effects. Going to a history class would actually unlock a new place for you to visit in the world like a ruined castle or something like that, we need to get something out of going to classes if not theres no point and i rather it stays as is.

I want to see special quests and romances

that's not how the OG games were though. Got my hopes up for min more mini quests for classes.

They could’ve just copied Rockstar and do it exactly like Bully. You have classes you need to attend and they give you rewards depending on your grades. You can also see your report card and popularity ratings with each clique. I don’t know- I said this on another video that they really could’ve just meshed Skyrim, Bully, and Gta(for those who wanted online mode) into one big game. The features everyone is asking for exist in other games they could’ve taken inspiration from.

The biggest downside to being a console player is no. mODs. Tho honestly it’s insane the game set in a school needed moderrs to add in classes. Should. BE base game

Warner Bros has it coming for us! A sequel is on its way 🧙🏼‍♂️ Hi Everyone, I’m a big fan of the Wizarding World from Sweden and I would love to share my ideas for the upcoming sequal! I think many of you would like to see more of the action that’s going on in Hogwarts Legacy; and yes, the Wizarding World is about duelling, beasts and dark wizards too. But I on the other hand would love to feel like a normal Hufflepuff-student for once. This includes studies, classes, sneaking up at night with my friends, OWL’s etc, immersion, Diagon Alley etc. I don’t feel the need of being the savior of the Wizarding World. I would also wish for: - More spells: Not only usefull ones. They could include jinxes etc. - Deeper immersion: Being able to sit by the fire. Reading books we already know stuff about (The History of Hogwarts etc). - More beasts. - A map consisting of Hogwarts, the grounds, the lake (underwater?), the forbidden forest and Hogsmeade, Diagon Alley and the Ministry. - Consequences of your actions. - More magical plants and more herbology. - More subjects. -Quidditch. - Wizards Chess. - Animagus. The list can be made long but yeah, that’s some of my so many ideas. So yes, I would love a simulation-like. I wish you all the best! 🧙🏼‍♂️

I wish they made it like BULLY - the classes system, reeard after each successfull class that significantly improves gameplay by unlocking new abilities or equipment, curfew times, prefacts all over the campus chasing you if you fuck up, detention mini game like lawn mowing, there's so much more from bully that could've been used in this just put the Hp Spin on them

One thing annoyed me is I think at night they should’ve been prefects and teachers on guard and if you get caught out of bed at night, you lose house points and may have to do an detention like in bully aka candis Candem edit and doing well in classes should’ve awarded you house points and I think there should’ve been actual classes you have to take and be on time and they should’ve been an option that let you actually sleep in your dormitory I think they should’ve been dementors as an enemy and you should’ve been able to learn Expecto Patronum and choose your Patronus And have the option to be able to become an Animagus

Hey brother. I downloaded the mod. I just extracted the files to the steam apps hogwarts phoenix paks then made a mods folder. I made a new character. Is there a way to know if it correctly installed? Or am I gonna have to wait until after the beasts class to get the classes quests started ?

I had many issues with the game. The world was perfect, but the story and characters were awful. The robot voice bug never got fixed. The fact that the school was barely part of the game. The "cultural issues" in the game that I don't want. The lack of a character backstory. The lack of the Hogwarts express. The lack of wizard games. The fact that magic can be cast without a wand and the wand apparently serves no purpose at all. The fact that curfew was never enforced. The fact that no house wins. It seemed as though they made a beautiful world but failed at everything else.

Awesome mod and I agree wish HL focused more on student life. But it was never meant to be a sim. Just an RPG

they probably thought it would be boring for the player and focused on other things

I think next game they will have it online like quidditch, every “battlepass” u will earn a couple spells for in game use, so go to classes for a month learn a spell, I think it could be good… as much as I hate online only games 😂😓

Is this the first mod that adds more quests? To me that's what the game was desperately missing - a ton more side quests like all the random dungeons and npc encounters in Skyrim.

Oh yes.. this is the type of thing to make me re-download it.. I made space for the Original games, and Quidditch WC, quidditch champions, etc.. now we just need quidditch in Hogwarts Legacy 😅

I want all the students to wear different robes whenever ig go into the school i really feel weird that my own character is wearing different outfits while other are all wearing the same uniform

Absolutely agree that the lack of student attending classes moment is what definitely ruined the game for me and the reason I never finished it I understand how people can be annoyed about such a system but it’s really a game that needed a persona type of daily and hourly schedule imo, we needed way more moments to bond with our classmates and teachers

I've not played the game at all yet, very surprised to find out there isn't classes. I would have expected something like what bully does were you unlock new abilities, skills and collectables for completing classes. its just strange to have a game about a school that would have nothing to do with school work

Hogwarts Legacy is a great modding sandbox because everyone wants more from the game.

Unfortunately the team behind this game has 0 game design skills. They created a masterpiece of a world but with 4 different enemies, 3 or 4 puzzles repeating over and over, boring caracters and teachers, no quidditch because of the upcomong quidditch game and uninteresting slide quests. Im pretty sure there are more issues im missremembering

They should let rockstars red dead redemption2 team work on it. Ever since that came out every open world feels empty and bland. Look at ubisoft garbage spewing out the same crap every few years.

I want a gaming pc for this game. And skyrim with certain mods.
