KIND: People First, Work Second. Always.
For the last few years, I've adopted this as one of my leadership mantras: "People first, work second. Always". The idea is simple. No matter how busy you are, no matter how many demands your customers place on you, it creates a golden rule that people always come first. When someone needs a break because they're ill, or just getting the first signs of an illness, or someone close to them has p...
Kindness: Nice is not the same as Kind
Kindness gets a bad press sometimes because it’s confused with ‘just being nice’. ‘Kind’ and ‘Nice’ are not the same. In fact, there’s a world of difference between ‘Nice’ and ‘Kind’.

The question what his background says about him, the space: not a maximalist neither minimalist, his books focus on one topic, some easy to take care plants, a photo where contemplation is the theme, he likes dogs? Or the geometrical design of it or is a gift? Some things he likes like music? A guy trying to or his character is balanced and not fear of trying new things.

Look I am a lost cause. I too went to art schools, in fact am highly educated, hopelessly old and still have a mind that won't stop learning, remembering it all and love gardens, cats and in fact all flora and fauna. My friends seem to be dying at an alarming rate. Too much stuff, everyone knows. I like ENGLISH GARDENS. I have no interest in a perfect, pruned cut it down garden. Though gardens I love are lots of work. Just flourishing full of a riot of color...planned. But my back porch...yikes! The spare room. double yikes. I make art with my STUFF.

I can relate to your laptop conundrum. I’ve realised that a lot of modern day things don’t get done because I don’t know how to move forward with them. Once I realise that’s the problem then I can work my way forward by trying to find answers on the internet or asking around. So google how to wipe a hard drive for instance. So often I don’t move forward because the problem seems too overwhelming and I presume I won’t be able to do it. I’ve really progressed since I started breaking everything down into little questions I need to find an answer to and little jobs that need to be done. It’s like one of those yes/no flowchart thingies.
