I think Ainu people is Caucasian people first were inhabitated in Japan about 6 or 5000 BC that they are conected with Tocharian people in Western China that they re Caucasian too. These 2 nation is related with the spread of INDO European people from Eastern Europe and Central Asia ...... Alternative 2 is about Aryan invasion that they were not stop in India only ,but The Aryan was break through into China n East Asia, too until they found Japans island n stay there long long time before.

Even among the Japanese we get picky so quick when it comes to others’ appearance, just like Americans’ obsession on race. Still under the same race though. (Its not obvious and clear so It’s rude to call another Japanese a Korean or Chinese isn’t it) But, At the end of the day, we can all agree that the Japanese are mixed with variety of ethnicities.

@@MaalikSokoto-k8f Errr.. Almost no Japanese or Okinawan people call the Okinawan locals 琉球人 Ryukyujin. That’s how many Chinese people call them. So you’re probably from China❓沖縄県民を含む日本人はほとんど誰も( 琉球人) とは言いません。その呼び方をするのは中国の人達です。 Most Okinawan people call themselves うちなんちゅー Uchinanchu. Most Chinese or foreigners don’t know that Jomon type people have lived in all over the Japanese archipelago , including Okinawan islands & Hokkaido, since about 18.000 years ago. Toraijin 渡来人Yayoi 弥人or Kofun 古墳人migrated to Japanese islands from about 3.000 to 1.500 years ago. The migration occurred until about the Nara era, the 7th century. Ainu people have a little different combination, but both main island & Okinawan people are the mixture of Jomon & later migrants like Yayoi & Kofun. The Jomon percentage is higher in Okinawa & southern Kyushu though. Indigenous Jomon tribes are like 隼人族 Hayato tribe in southern Kyushu, 蝦夷 Emishi in Tohoku, and アイヌ Ainu tribe in the southern part of Hokkaido. As for Okinawa, Ryukyu 琉球国 occurred just about 500 years ago, not so long ago in the medieval time. Yayoi type people from the mainland Japan stationed there to trade surfer with Song China first. That’s how people started to own lands in Okinawa. Rice farming in paddies were also introduced to Okinawa by such mainland Japanese. Local Jomon type people weren’t interested in occupying or controlling lands. So Jomon type people have been in Okinawa way way before Ryukyu occurred. And most modern Okinawan people still have that ancestry. So Jomon type people are Jomon anyways. You know what I mean❓ For example, there used to be several kingdoms or nations in ancient Japan, but we still are the mixture of Jomon & later migrants like Yayoi & Kofun. It’s the same in China. There used to be a kingdom called “ Ming “ in China, but people don’t call Chinese or Han Chinese people “ Ming people “. You know what I mean❓ Hope you get it😅

Your Finnish reading is likely a misread. The ancestors of the Finns migrated into Europe from Central Asia and Western Siberia, so Finnish is likely showing for you because you share ancient North Central Asian DNA with them. It does not mean that someone from Finland or Europe is an ancestor of yours. A reading of Finnish (or Hungarian) is common for Korean and Japanese people who use MyHeritage. All of the coloured regions on the map can be explained by ancestry coming from the regions known today as Mongolia and Manchuria. That's most likely where your roots originate. Y-Haplogroup is not a reliable way to determine relatedness. For instance, a Japanese male who had one Jomon Male ancestor 20 generations ago on his paternal side, but no further Jomon ancestors other than this one male, would still carry the D-M55 Haplogroup, but would only be a small fraction Jomon. The result would appear biased. Autosomal DNA is a more reliable way to determine how closely 2 populations are to one another genetically. Koreans and Japanese share 91-94% genetic similarity, and can be clustered together as a single population group, similar to how French and German are grouped together. The O1B2 haplogroup is found in high frequencies only among Korean and Japanese, which points to a common shared origin.

Responding to a comment you posted in another video claiming that 70% of the Japanese have ancestry from the area around the Yangtze River basin. "Actually, according to a genetic research done by Kanazawa university & other international research teams, it has been revealed that 70% of the Japanese have ancestry from the area around the Yangtze River basin, around current Shanghai. 古墳人 Kofun people, 長江弥生人 in other words, came from that area to Kyushu 九州." Okay. My reasoning is that languages are carried by people. How come the Japanese language structurally show no resemblances to any of the Chinese languages (Cantonese, Mandarin, etc.) or even any of the languages of the ethnic minorities in southern China if that's the case? Rather the Japanese language actually show more similarities to the Korean language structurally. Some linguists even group Japanese and Korean together into the Altaic language family rather than the Sino-Tibetan language family. en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Altaic_languages I am Cantonese from Hong Kong, and I certainly would not mind if science proved that we are related. But this has not been the case so far if language differences are taken into consideration.

Han Chinese is a political grouping that was invented merely 100 years ago, it's neither genetic nor linguistic or cultural, since the so-called "Han Chinese" is a mixed hodgepodge and included numerous peoples which historically had never been called Han, such as those from South China. In terms of autosomal DNA, the so-called "Han Chinese" can be roughly divided into 7 groups according to the ChinaMap genomic study on Han Chinese by Y Cao et al. 2020. And the Far South Chinese (Cantonese) are the southernmost group out of the 7 and are positioned very close to Zhuang, Dai, and Kinh on the PCA chart.

Language does not mean anything in a place like China, Chinese is ruled by a government with multiple ethics group forced to speak the Sino-Tibertan, however, dialect are the best thing to distinguish the genetic connection Northern Han chinese are more related to Japanese/Korean than the southern-Chinese. It is very apparent.

Especially kyushu and okinawa are close to Jomon face, while, kansai people are more likely to look like korean or chinese. I have visited korea as well, but i have a belief that korean people are a bit of distant from my own appearance.

Jomon (Ainu) , Mix (Ainu + Korean), Yayoi (Korean). According to Google: The Yayoi people were a group of farmers who migrated from the Korean Peninsula to Japan during the Yayoi period, which lasted from around 200 BC to AD 200.

Jōmon people Jōmon people (縄文人, Jōmon jin) is the generic name of several peoples who lived in the Japanese archipelago during the Jōmon period (c. 14,000 to 300 BCE). The Jōmon people may have consisted of multiple groups, which arrived and merged at different times in the Japanese archipelago, using multiple migration routes, rather than a single homogeneous people. Yet, there was considerable genetic affinity between different regional groups, suggesting homogenization. Population genomic data from various Jōmon period samples show that their main ancestry component split from other (continental) East Asian people at about 25,000 to 15,000 BCE, but after the estimated split of Ancestral Native Americans from East Asians at about 36,000 to 25,000 BCE. They subsequently received some geneflow from an Upper-Paleolithic North Eurasian population (Yana RHS not Malta1), but following their migration into the Japanese archipelago, they became largely isolated from outside geneflow. According to the article "Jōmon culture and the peopling of the Japanese archipelago" by Schmidt and Seguchi (2014), the prehistoric Jōmon people descended from various paleolithic populations, which migrated into the Japanese archipelago, using different routes at different times. They concluded: "In this respect, the biological identity of the Jomon is heterogeneous, and it may be indicative of diverse peoples who possibly belonged to a common culture, known as the Jomon. ... These results suggest a level of inter-regional heterogeneity not expected among Jomon groups. Kondo et al. 2017, detected a North to South cline of morphological heterogeneity of the Jōmon period samples, with more homogeneity in Southwestern Japan. Watanabe et al. 2022 (pre-reviewed yet, but citing Cooke et al. 2021) analyzed the genome of various published Jōmon samples. Jōmon samples were found to have 47.6% frequency of the derived ABCC11 gene and 68.9% frequency of the derived EDAR gene, which is lower than among other continental East Asians. The genetic data suggests that the Jōmon are forming a basal lineage to modern East and Northeast Asians8,10,11. The genetic relationship between a Jomon individual and other East Asians suggested that the ancestral population of the Jomon people is one of the earliest-wave migrants who might have taken a coastal route on the way from Southeast Asia toward East Asia11. From the Late to Final Jomon period, the Jomon hunter-gatherers settled down in mainland Japan. They were a relatively short statured population with genetic factors to adapt to their hunter-gatherer lifestyle, such as higher triglyceride and blood sugar for resistance to starvation. The population size or the population density of the Jomon people varied among regions, relatively large in Tohoku and Kyushu and relatively small in Kinki, Shikoku23. The ancestors of East Asians used a southern route through South Asia, specifically through the Himalayan mountain range, into Mainland Southeast Asia (~50kya). From Mainland Southeast Asia they expanded northwards and southwards.

Jōmon culture is at the one hand linked to cultures of southern China and Northeast India, the "Broadleaved Evergreen Forest Culture", suggested to have included various cultures which ranged from southwestern Japan through southern China towards Northeast India and southern Tibet, and was characterized by the cultivation of Azuki beans and the peach. At the other hand to a Northeast Asian and Siberian cultural complex typified by early ceramic cultures such as the ones found at Ōdai Yamamoto I Jōmon Site or Aoyagamiji site in the Tottori prefecture. The languages spoken during the Jōmon period are unknown, but likely included the ancestral forms of Ainuic and Japonic, next to perhaps Tungusic languages, Austronesian languages, Paleosiberian languages or unknown and today extinct languages. The roots of proto-Japonic from an specifc southwestern Jōmon tribe is plausible. The Japonic-speaking Early Jōmon people must have been drawn in to avail themselves of the pickings of Yayoi agricultural yields, and the Yayoi may have prospered and succeeded in multiplying their paternal lineages precisely because they managed to accommodate the Jōmon linguistically and in material ways." A new study in 2022 conducted by the University of Xiamen shed light on the presence of Jōmon ancestry among Ancient Koreans and the lack of Jōmon genomes found in present-day Koreans. Researchers discovered that despite finding evidence of the Jōmon people on the Korean peninsula, there were little to no traces left of their genetic impact in their respective people's gene pools. According to the study, Ancient Koreans were composed of "northern East Asian-related ancestry and indigenous Jōmon-related ancestry" where the "northern East Asian ancestry was suggested to be related to the Neolithic West Liao River farmers in northeast China". The finding indicated that the "West Liao River-related farmers might have spread the proto-Korean language as their ancestry was found to be predominant in extant Koreans". The Ainu people The Ainu are the indigenous people of the lands surrounding the Sea of Okhotsk, including Hokkaido Island, Northeast Honshu Island, Sakhalin Island, the Kuril Islands, the Kamchatka Peninsula and Khabarovsk Krai, before the arrival of the Yamato Japanese and Russians. The Ainu have often been considered to descend from the Hokkaido Jōmon people, who lived in northern Japan from the Jōmon period (c. 14,000 to 300 BCE). Recent research suggests that the historical Ainu culture originated from a merger of the Okhotsk culture with the Satsumon culture, cultures thought to have derived from the diverse Jōmon-period cultures of the Japanese archipelago. A study by Natsuki, Daigo (January 19, 2021). "Migration and adaptation of Jomon people during Pleistocene/Holocene transition period in Hokkaido, Japan” confirmed that the Hokkaido Jōmon people formed from "Incipient Jōmon tribes of Honshu" and from "Terminal Upper-Paleolithic people" (TUP people) indigenous to Hokkaido and Paleolithic Northern Eurasia. The Honshu Jōmon groups arrived about 15,000 BC and merged with the indigenous "TUP people" to form the Hokkaido Jōmon. The Ainu in turn formed from the Hokkaido Jōmon cultures, specifically from the merger of the Satsumon and the Okhotsk cultures. The Incipient Jomon communities coexisted with the Terminal Upper Paleolithic (TUP) people that had continued to occupy the region since the stage prior to the LG warm period, but the Incipient Jomon population was relatively small. Recent autosomal evidence suggests that the modern Ainu (self-identified Ainu) derive a majority of their ancestry from the local Jōmon period people of Hokkaido. A 2019 study by Gakuhari et al., analyzing ancient Jōmon remains, finds about 79.3% Hokkaido Jōmon ancestry in the Ainu. Another 2019 study (by Kanazawa-Kiriyama et al.) finds about 66% Hokkaido Jōmon ancestry. A genetic study in 2021 (Sato et al.) found that the modern Ainu probably derived about ~49% of their ancestry from the local Hokkaido Jōmon, ~22% from the Okhotsk (represented by Chukotko-Kamchatkan peoples), and ~29% from the Yamato Japanese.
