Just bought one the same my very first stationery engine after 66 years,, it's nice and free, stored in the dry and was last run five years ago so fingers crossed 😊

Well posh. Clock and window spray! I found OKA 432 (if you own it send us an update) back in the 80s in lock up. Five years later got it back on the road and totally original. Called it Uncle Albert. The kids loved him. Happy days. Ohh. I got engine spares from the Swiss Army, who were scrapping their Centurion Tanks.. The MM engine was a slave engine on the Cent. Thanks for posting.

I’d love to find out more on the engine I just bought, do you know of anyone who could help? I believe it was built in 1944, serial number is 340078, I think it may have been supplied to the ministry of supply as it has the holes on the casing where a ‘WD’ plate would have been. I’d love to know more as it is an interesting little thing

Please can you help me, myself and my Down’s syndrome son are working on a Petter a11 stationary engine. We needed to work on the valve seats because there was some corrosion, we got them out but can’t install them. We bought a tool which didn’t work can you help us please? Lovely video .. nice to see Matilda .. and parked next to the Austin Princess Vanden Plas .. my dad had a 1953 2 door split screen Moggie minor “Sally” Reg UKX202 which he replaced with a Wolseley 1100 Mk1 which had the walnut dashboard and the nice little grille with light up badge .. in 1966 .. Reg PPP921D., replaced again in 1975 by an Austin Allegro 1300L complete with quartic square steering wheel reg JUD951N .. which became my first car in 1984.

Hi can I surges you don't use emery paper to clean the rust of the flywheels as this can wear the flywheel away! and upset the ballance of the flywheel Instead use an oily rag instead
