And they release the films on digital waaaaay before it comes to theathers, so I end up not seeing those films in theaters. For example, ive watched anora on my laptop on the beggining of december and its only coming to any movie theather near me in the 23rd of January, so why would I wait to see it in theathers when its already available all over the Internet? I think its kinda of a dumb strategy and make them lose a lot of money

As far as I know, Fincher was only supposed to produce The Goon. One of the slated directors was Tim Miller, who later did Deadpool and developed Love, Death and Robots with Fincher. So, they eventually did work on an animated project together.

I loved Nosferatu (2024), much like I also love the original 1922 version (and the 1979 one too). As you said, it was so well cast, with everyone playing their part to perfection. And there were many nods in the film to the original even though none were really showy. And the shadow of Nosferatu's hands covering Wisborg were straight from Murnau's Faust, which I really loved. Definitely hope to see it again in a cinema, hopefully in IMAX.

I just left the theater and while it’s still fresh in my mind, may I just say how gorgeous and unnerving it was to see. Outstanding performances all around. Every expression of total and utter dread felt almost too real. I appreciated the minimal use of quicks cuts since it helped me feel almost as if I was actually there with the characters. Exceptional use of lighting and shadows especially when there’s a blanket of pure darkness around the Count but you can just barely make out an outline. Every aspect of this film felt intentional and I was in awe the entire time. As mentioned in the video there were a few scenes that felt a little drawn out but in my opinion, not enough to take away the immersion. So much time and passion went into the making this film and it shows.

People need to shut the feck up about "nepo babies". Jeff Bridges is a "nepo baby". Michael Douglas is a "nepo baby". People only seem to be obsessing over the up-and-coming actors who have family in the trade though. Nepotism isn't a new thing, it has affected every industry since the beginning of time and quite rightly so. Why wouldn't you help your kids get into the family business, whether that be acting, plumbing or bear-wrestling? Worry about your own damn life, cos right now your jealousy is showing. Great review, it's an excellent film and a perfect update to a pair of classics. Subscribed.

I could say a lot about this movie, but I'll mention the fact that it's a more than 100-years old story remade from a more than 100-year old film, about vampires,ie the most overdone and "domesticated" supernatural being, and it actually scared me, nay, not scared, *horrified* me. That is an achievement. Such a cathartic, exhilarating experience this movie,Eggers is a true 4/4 for me. Also I wanna say, people who say Bill Skarsgard was unremarkable because "he could have been anyone".....trust me, if it'd been anyone else, you'd be feeling the difference. That *timber* ....

Muppet Christmas Carol is honestly one of the best movies. It seems so underrated that no one talks about it and its grace. The songs are although really good and heartwarming, although some can be very hard to take in for Scrooge. The first song Scrooge tells about how mean and hurtful he really is. At the end he really learns how to be grateful and caring from the 3 spirits past, present, and future. Although, technically 4 includes Marley and Marley. This movie is just heart melting. ❤️ 😊

I am a big fan of the original I agree Renee rap brought a lot of energy Damien was good Janice was really great Angourie Rice as Kady heron was a disaster she ruined the movie!! and had all the charisma and singing ability of a wet bathmat.

I saw some people talking about how Renée’s performance was “wrong” because she didn’t play Regina the way Rachel McAdams did and that was a bad thing. But we already have Rachel McAdams’ version and nobody would be able to perfectly imitate that so I think it’s better that they tried something different in the remake.

This was the first time them thinking to pull something off like this & I think Police was always suspicious of it especially for Sanjay's character who always had a knack, bone to pick for this

Kurosawa used multiple cameras, and it worked well for him. Scott is one of the very best directors in the world. The problem is one of having a lack of good scripts to work with. And Hollywood is an industry/elitist club where decisions are made for political reasons rather than artistic reasons. So, if you don't like his films. Get the man some good scripts-start writing. I know Scott and it is not his fault that the good scripts he needs are not available to him.

Thing about the Civil War poster is that it's nonsensical as the distance from the torch of the Statue of Liberty and anywhere where combatants can mass is outside the common distances in engagements. But aside from that nitpick, I do agree that it's a good poster.
