Weston Correa - the Firm 1994 (i think)
Smoothest fs big spin of all time.
Still so good
He was so fkng good jfc. My alltime fav 😊
I liked this back in 1993, now in 2024 at 44 years old, this hits home in a very real way.
Amazing. Most people are embarrassed about this era of skateboarding, I loved it and have very fond memories of the tech era. My homies and I were learning new tricks everyday and now that curbs are back in style I've rediscovered a bunch of old curb combos.
Yup best era for sure
Shannon May would've been sick on Alien Workshop. Interested to know why that never happened. Especially with Duane Pitre switching over.
Ethan’s tre flip on the spine of the pyramid, the hard way was perfect
Got recommended this 14 years after release lol, great vid, great tricks!
Weston "went" to my high school but I think I only saw him there 2-3x max. Always wished he had more footage and got more respect from skaters in the long term, since he was the local legend, and he was clearly killing it around this time. Always nice to my skate crew and sold us cheap boards from time to time.
Definitely one of my favorite skaters in the 90´s, dude had it all, skill, style and trick selection. I wonder what is he up these days.
okay, i could have sworn i remembered he was from south orange county and i think this verifies. skating newhart and the cabot blocks.
Mission beach McDonald’s?
Thought it was PB
@@jessiemartinez3056 Well yeah they are neighbors.
@@dirtvegan yes they sure are..don't go to the McDonalds in the heights
This dude ripped he reminded me Julien Stranger
This was the best part in a video which was loaded with talented skaters. Armando Barrajas also had an excellent opening part. The New Deal team, Odd Numbers band, and the color yellow are all tied together in my memories from 1990
Young Ron
love favorite sk8ter
Damn what songs ?
Hard to believe this came out a year before plan b questionable
It didn't. It came out in march 92 then plan b came out in June 92. Though alot of the deck shapes changed alot from summer 91 to spring 92. Plan b did kill h street very fast after this. Ironically it was Mike ternasky leaving h street to start a plan b which was smaller at the time shadowed most of the industry.
He could shred along the skaters nowadays no problem
One of the greatest video parts of all time!
This was the dead era of skating but it really was the begining of modern street skating, no more boneless and no comply and skating curbs just static without rolling. Even though this era was still figuring out where skating was going it opened up your mind, 1281 and sky pager came after but i remember just looking at my school yard so much different after these videos. Jeff Pang in Sky Pager got me poping my tricks and Kris Markovich in the Union Right to Skate vid had me skating with authority. Ron Knige and Chris Hall and all the og ND riders got me so stoked on skating. I actually think skating took a wrong turn by going just gnarly, how everything has to just be gnarly all the time. Ricky, Fred, Matt got it right and thats just a few years after this which is crazy. 91-97 was a fun time to be a skater, it went all evil knivel and corporate after that and was never the same. Back in the early 90's we were all nobodys and the world hated skaters, i wouldnt even tell co workers i was a skater, we were skate rats true and true. I posted a few clips of me skating back in the day if anyone wants to check them out. Peace
match me anybody!
91 92 best skate days
I was a skater when this came out! miss those days
I remember when this came out, i was a grom
Real Sal flip
Yeah, Ocean.
Who was Crying Ryan
Who was Corey Nasty? QuikSirSpeedy cases.
i slapped myself in the face! wtf!
This dude's my history professor
Dude you should interview him!!
That is so fuxkin cool
Dude, this was an amazingly progressive part for 1991.
Around the time I saw lots of people skating Pulaski on the reg as a kid...been skating since 96 lol
Pulaski was on fire back in get fam days. So much fun. Thanks chrome ball
Wow!
That Ollie over to front blunt is his shit man! Love Gideon! Thanks for this as always....and the AZ track cranks
this was like rocket science in 90'
Awesome! This is Xander your cousin Tony's stepson. I just started skateboarding
It’s been 31 years; this aged well. I also thought Guy invented the switch Ollie to nose grind to revert, but lookie here
Back then we only did switch 180 but after this guy we tried everything switch ,first guy too experiment with switch techniques in my book
The first scene is that where rancid- hyena music video was filmed? Where Brett reed is skating
Some classic audio right there
So many feels here
RIP Jed. You taught me a lot thru pandemic.
RIP Jed. Didn’t even know about this part of your life. Wish I would have been lucky enough to know you in real life.

What year was this filmed? Jed looked pretty young. Never mind, I'm a little slow. Just looked at the title.
