I have tried to get my Yamaha Motif XF8 to work in Cubase again for so long that I gave up for years. I now thought I should try again, but only after watching so many videos telling me to do all the same things, I stumbled over this. And the reset did the trick! I am so grateful for this video. I think this advice is really good. Whenever I sit down to make a beat I try to get it done in one go. But to really let your life influence the music it is good to do it over time or comeback to old music.

Foe me even OMNI doesnt work :( I see stuff happening in app when I play, but no sound. There is sound if i click keyboard with mouse tho...

I made a serious factory reset for my keystation49MK3. Then I tried again at random with a Kontakt factory instrument. Nothing ! (brief instant of whining) but I persisted and some instruments where actually responding, quite more than before.So thank you very much A suggestion?. Recently I got into trouble because one cable was not working My gear is around 10 years. Not surprising. never the less you rarely expect that. My 2 cents For the advertisers Sorry it doesn't belong here, but I again got this advertising in intro to your video, which is supposed to bait you for 2 hands piano learning from the beginning. The problem is the guy doing it litteraly shouts without warning from the first frame of the video (taotally peaking) ; he got me more than once because this advertising - due my musiciean algorythms ' appears quite often in my YT. I had a stroke this year (a light one, lucky me) but I don't feel ready for another one. If someone of the company could read me and moderate the sound volume, thanks.

359 views??? RUclips really hasnt done this video justice. Awesome video! I can always come up with great idea but as soon as I open my daw I get a little anxious. I either get super stuck and close the daw later, make something thats honestly pretty bad or late at night I'll just randomly open my daw with no thought and actually make something pretty decent. I've only been making music for only over a year so I really should go easy on myself but damn I dont want to loose the ideas I have.

I'm weird, I have a habit of getting really good at a creative outlet, and trying to find another one before I've mastered the first one. I did it with art, and now I'm ending up doing it with music. Wanting to learn every rock instrument I can so I have something to do when I don't want to draw.

For me everytime I opened Kontakt it opened a sampler as well and never would be able to hear my keyboard. The issue was that I just organized all my generators and effects and put an effect version of Kontakt in the generator folder.
