Enjoy the video. Been driving a cab in TampaBay for 26 years...hard to believe!!! Thinking about doing this lifestyle for a while now. Got a '22 Prius and will most likely just do Uber eats and Doordash. Saw you were just up the road in New Port Richey. I cant stand that area of Pasco County. And the cops there are teally tough. Lot of crime and meth problems. Safe travels!!!
Hey Wells! Thanks for being here and joining the Journey! Tampa is definitely a beautiful area and I know you can definitely make this lifestyle work for you! New Port Richey is definitely not a safe area but I was doing work in that area and so I needed to sleep close! Hahah but thankfully that story is from 2018/2019! Florida just seems way to hot for me to come down now! I like the cold! 😂

I've been living in my van for about 14 months. I mostly use 24hr gyms and travel centers like, Love's or Flying J. Never thought about Lowes or Home Depot. Gonna try em out this weekend lol.

Just stumbled upon you channel and subscribed. I love these types of channels. I have given thought to doing the same thing in my '22 Prius. Door dash, Uber eats, etc. The reason your situation is better is because of that sweet dog traveling with you. I bet he loves it. Gonna watch a bunch of back videos. I apologize for not knowing if your dog is a boy or girl. Any great tips for this lifestyle for a newbie? Safe travels!!!

There are plenty of gig apps out there to find work on! Tips; save up some cash first so you have a little bit of reserve and don’t feel pressured if anything breaks down! I slept in my old truck many nights with out window blinds but they are totally worth it, blocks the light from coming in or out and gives you the best privacy!(i still don’t currently cover all my windows overnight and I’m content!) stick around and Ofcourse more tips will come along in the videos! Having Bentley with me is amazing! I love having him along! :)
Dude, you should try to make a real sleep platform on the other side of the car. Sleeping in a driver's seat like that puts strain on your body. You will likely be physically harmed if you keep sleeping this way.

@@RickyleehbPlease do. You don’t want blood clots. Make yourself a sturdy platform and a good mattress. I have a van. I’ve slept at a few different Cracker Barrel’s. No problems. I’ll wake up and get some breakfast and move on.
Changed my sleeping setup a bit since this video! I am now sleep on the passenger side laying pretty much all the way flat
What kind of car do you have. I have a 5x8 cargo trailer I can stand up in,small enough I can pull it with a small truck or small SUV. Have you thought about going that route?,it would make it easier on your journey. I will subscribe to see how well you do. Good luck

What’s your sleeping setup like in your car?
you should look into a small size tri-fold mattress or buy some foam from lowes and make a bed . . it would be so much more comfortable. plenty of RUclips videos on it even cheap inflatable
@@Shane7876 hey Shane! Thanks for joining the Journey and being here! Awesome suggestion! I’ve been looking into a better bed setup, and currently doing research on what will work best for me. This is just showing that if someone needed/wanted to travel or live in their car, that there are fast solutions out there that do work for a temporary time! I do plan on building a small platform, my back won’t last super long sleeping in the driver seat but it’s what I got for now! Thanks for being here!
I live close to this Bucees. It is always packed..Will get bbq brisket there, i grant bucees that..but its just a gas station and im not into big crowds..I moved to live off grid from big city... im not into being around so many.people. So i stay away. But the rest stop north of bucees, in summer time has some awesome stealth camping spots. in the tree line, and there are nice stealth camp spots along the divided highway too. Ive stealth camped all through East Tennessee

You’re totally correct! The sunroof is essential for me to let fresh air in! One of the reasons why I hate when it rains in car life hahah which once I get window rain deflectors it won’t be as bad

Rent is outrageous and I've decided that with the time I have left on this plane, I want to travel the US and find peace and warmer areas too.
