I actually went to Oxford a couple of years ago. I remember one summer night in second year, I was at a party and there was this girl there who was really, really drunk. At one point she let out the longest, loudest fart I've ever heard come out of a girl. It smelled so awful as well. It was shocking yet hilarious at the same time, definitely one of my funniest memories from university. Such fun times.

Looked at your reviews of the books that you read. I was in Med school (and PhD too), in Boston. 41 years ago, I just started my 4th year when I had a CVA. I had (past tense, please), and expressive aphasia, agraphia and hemiparesis. The first two, are resolved, I still one armed bandit. Before my wonderful event, I was cocky and focused. In the early years, just simply things were hard. My languages took decades (20-25 years) to get the abilities to speak (my level was relatively high level CVA), but in general, I recognized that one is the different of Homosapien vs chimpanzee? The language, language, language (and logic, too). So, do have some perspective, maybe, but I thought in the early years of my situation. Med student vs a patient. -Peter Seissler P.S.: After my CVA, I worked for 20 years in biotech firms and 10 years at Mount Sinai Medical School.
