We got the 2024 Rock Creek 2 months ago and love it. Wanted the Infiniti QX60, but wanted the towing and off-road features, and saved $20k in the process. Very happy with it, going to take a road trip this summer from Los Angeles to Lake Tahoe in a few weeks. Just put a ceramic coat on it.

the new z is very slow

I love the new Z. I bought a 2024 Performance manual with 6000 miles on it so I didn't have to pay the $50k+ MSRP. This is my 5th Z car. FYI- This car is built on the same platform as the 370z, which is NOT the same as the 350z. 350z Z33 platform was built on the 1st generation FM platform. Z34 and RZ34 are built on the 2nd gen FM platform. 350z has a longer wheelbase than the 370z and new Z, which share the same wheelbase.

For the lack of modern options on the inside of the car, the price of this should be AT LEAST $10k less. Never mind the outrageous dealer mark ups.

Good job on the video. I do feel that Nissan as a company has an established offroading heritage in its product lineup. Also, their engines are usually listed in Ward's 10 best engine selections each year. The value proposition is quite evident, and hence the reason that we chose the Nissan Quest (Minivan) back in 2006 over its competition.

Great video. I almost purchased this vehicle four months ago. But I felt that it wasn’t quite powerful enough for my liking and the overall tech in the Pathfinder was outdated. However, the new Pathfinder is a very nice vehicle to drive. I purchased a Chevy Tahoe instead.

Beautiful car and excellent engine...unfortunately in my country "Italy" we have small engines of displacement and power to counter the high costs of petrol (1 liter 1.81 euros which at the exchange rate in $ is 1.98. In particular the Skyactive G 122-150hp in addition to the 2.0-liter 186hp for front-wheel drive only. Anyway, nice review🤙

Nice job finding the turbo! Still haven't found the one on our CX-90 PHEV, although it likely has a very similar 2.5. Typical - pushing it to the limit with low fuel for extra SPEED😅. And I don't think they hated us that much, my car was pretty quiet. We'd definitely make quite a bit more racket if we did a run one of these days👀

I like the design concepts of the interior better than a new M2 or something where there is just a big Samsung screen in your face. I guess I am old school. Maybe they could use some better materials here or there.

Ben, I have been interested in buying a C8, but I have always been bothered by the fact that you never see ten year old Corvettes on the road as the engines disintegrate. Coupled with the $10K dealer markups, I have given up, period, never again. But I stumbled across your VIDEO AND WOW! I had a 1984 280ZX 2+2 and this brings back the memories. Your REVIEW is UNIQUE because you know the Z's prior foibles, and you compare & contrast them from wisdom. Nobody else! Only you! You are FANTASTIC!

Supra looks better and outperforms the Z so I would go with Supra.

If you really really really want a Toyota engine in your supra, just drop a new 2JZ engine and be done with it, just my opinion k

Don't care if it's Japanese through and through. It is a massive let down for the price and it's performance. In fact, this and the Supra were on my list. And I didn't buy the Z, I'll tell you that much. And... I didn't buy the Supra either because it too had flaws, not as fatal as the Z, but still bad enough. Had to buy a freaking Camaro 2SS 1LE instead. It beats up the Supra on the track, it beats up the Z cruising. Better manual transmission, and sounds great under load. And as a bonus, throw my booster seat in back for my son to ride in and bond with on cruises. It doesn't look as good as the Z, but it's not terrible looking like some of the Supra's parts. A shame people slept on the SS 1LE.

No mention of the clutch. High engagement, low? Didn’t see any heel-to-tow down shifts. Rev matching? Another crap review of the manual transmission Z.

I have been a Nissan Z fan and owned a 300ZX, 350Z, and 370Z and loved them all. I am retired now so I am not driving nearly as much as I used to, but when I saw this new model of the Z come out I was totally disappointed. The styling is terrible and not nearly as aggressive as the 370Z, and the interior is also just a slightly improved computer version of the 370Z. I was ready to buy a new car and after seeing this went back to a 370Z, and if I were still working and wanted something brand new I would go with the Toyota Supra. I know Nissan has been having a rough time in recent years, but turning out an ugly piece of crap like this is not going to help their struggle. If I were the CEO I would fire the design team that worked on this car.

I would buy the Z over the Supra, seems a better option for those looking for a GT vehicle. In my 40s and not looking to race in a track often, so this seems the better option for me. I was a fan of the old Supra and the 300z, this also feels closer to those models.
