Nice video! I use one sheet. I fold the left edge over about a quarter inch. I run a glue stick on the outside of the folded piece. Then I put it in the crack like you did. I don’t want a whole lot of bulk in my Bible.

Why not use regular paper

Thanks a lot for the tip maam. This is a great way for anyone who would like to add notes to the Bible. Wide margin Bibles are really expensive, and this is an easy and cost-efficient way to make notes. I'll definitely use this going forward.

I agree reading some small print Bibles can become hard on your eyes the more you read. that is why I like just between some medium and large print bibles

Just recently I purchased a pretty teal colored NASB compact bible (Holman) from Amazon. With readers, the font is fine (I'm 72). I added teal colored tabs to match. Love my pretty little bible.

I know the struggle!! I went through a lot of bibles until I found one the NIV, Giant Print Compact Bible in Teal... I saw a youtuber using it and I ordered one.. its font size is 12 and compact I love it!! Its now the one I use daily and fits in my purse.

I bought this bible in teal just a couple weeks ago. Very readable.

I carry the NKJV Compact Maclaren and I really like it too :) Small-ish font but yep, it reads just fine! Nice footprint too, and very light

I have the same bible in the larger size and I absolutely love it. I have no problem carrying it around because it’s so easy to read. It’s worth it.

I, too, have discovered that Comfort Print makes a BIble more readable.

I had the same problem to solve, but I chose to get an NKJV large-print pew Bible from Thomas Nelson. I got it yesterday and I love it! It's black leather hardcover and has an 11-point font! I got it for $10 on sale at amz! Thank you!! Your new Bible is so pretty!

Even with my 2.50 readers, I must have at least 10 point, comfort print Bible. I was scheduled to have my first cataract surgery in the middle of June, but my husband passed away so I obviously had to cancel. Then I had to wait until I could have another exam before another surgery could be scheduled because he couldn't reschedule surgery until after a 90 day window. I just saw the opthalmologist Monday, 10/7 and surgery was scheduled for 12/23, until I received a call this morning saying that, because of the holidays, he won't be doing surgery until after New Years week. So, I was scheduled to have the right eye done in December, and the left done 1/13/25. Because of the holidays, my right eye will be on the 13th of January and the left on 2/5! I'm beginning to wonder if I am going to have to find a back up opthalmologist because my vision is beyond blurry and I truly love my Bible studies, which have become very hard to do as often as I prefer. At least I was still able to drive okay until last year when things really started to get fuzzy. I'l be 76 in eleven days and and can see well enough to drive because I don't go anywhere out of the ordinary. And I'm thankful I don't have to drive at night. Sorry for the rant, but I guess I wanted to let you know that not only do I empathize with you, you are blessed because you are able to read what I refer to as fine print!

FYI it is not only you, a majority of people need reading glasses as they age. Per the internet "Most people need reading glasses between the ages of 41 and 60. However, there's no specific timeline for when someone will need them, and everyone is different. Reading glasses are needed to compensate for presbyopia, an age-related loss of focus that occurs when the lenses inside the eyes lose flexibility."

The font is described on the page right before the maps, it is a 2K Denmark designed font based on the Thomas Nelson Novum Testamentum which was printed in 1844. I disagree that this is a "super" simple bible. This is a compact reference bible with end of verse cross references, a concordance as well as 8 pages of maps. Most "super" simple bibles have none of these features.

!!!Yes! I struggled also with smaller bibles(regular bibles as well) with smaller print) I had to break down and get a large print. I hope they carry the ESV translation.

That’s the bible I have too and I love it. Very readable. My store had it in other colours, but I loved the purple. I wanted an easy to read small bible for on the go and it’s been perfect. Enjoy!

It's a good commentary but I do not know all the books of the Bible in order and it does not tell what book of the Bible and what the chapter starts on.

I love your channel. You keep it simple and I like that. I get overwhelmed by other creators who show their Bibles with every verse highlighted in different colors and complicated note-taking systems.
