As someone who witnessed the fifth DCI championship, I have to say once you make it through a few years of the lightweight, no-sleeve unis; horns pushing past the sideline, no headgear, 2-story tall props and parade floats, you just kind of get used to it. Performers will be on hoverboards by the time DCI gets to 100.

8:19 Wylie East here. Yeah we went FIRST in Prelims! Not ideal but it was a unique and cool experience, very good season overall! that 30th placement will absolutely push us to be better for the 2024 season.

2023 state!

I saw Carmela show yesterday at state and I love their guards costumes!! I was getting state milk and I couldn’t hear Avon’s show when they were performing but I could hear Carmel and I could feel the timpani!Avon won all though I personally loved Carmel’s show! Also Castel got a three point penalty at semi-state and they went from 5th to 11th they were only a few tenths of a point off and due to that they couldn’t got to nationals :(

Tarpon is ranked low for the caliber of their show in my opinion they should be top 5.
