I've got a XP-Pen Deco 02 graphics tablet , and I must say that I like it very much. After a year of use I found the tracking and pressure sensitivity good in sketchbook and Photoshop. I never recommend the small tablets. They're very uncomfortable to work on.

So how long did the 2025 last? If not counting the one in there when you bought it then most likely a few years. AAA has the disadvantage that they have an enormeous energi amount compared to the thermometer usage. If using alkaline - which most people unfortunately use - then when they found out that battery needs replacement then it has already leaked. You can circumvent that by either changing alkaline battery at least every 2 years (no one remembers that even if they write date on when battery was put in) or by using 1.5v lithium AAA (like Energizer). A little more expensive but they don't leak. Using such battery a thermometer like that can probably run 10 years or more(!) So long that you'll forget it uses battery - so even thugh a little more expensive it's actually a little cheaper in the long run and you minimize risk of leaking battery to virtually zero. Even clocks that uses a little more power the lithiums are recommendable by the exact same reasons. Personally I don't use alkaline in such devices except perhaps to test functionality. Those that are in regular use I only use lithiums in.
