I took advantage of a beautiful April weekend in the midst of weeks of nonstop rain, and to say the least, I'm very pleased with the catches from this trip! I always enjoy going to Bellevue! All shots were filmed in or near Bellevue, OH on April 13th, 2024.

On a nice day in February, I found myself stationed along the NS Chicago Line at Oak Harbor, OH to catch high speed action. The NS Toledo District runs over the Chicago Line; however, most of the District's traffic takes the connection at Oak Harbor and heads on/off the Chicago Line. It's an interesting bridge structure. Here is a semi-complete documentation of all the railroad crossings along Wheeling & Lake Erie’s Akron Subdivision running from Mogadore, OH to Spencer, OH. I haven’t recently been working on this as most of these clips were filmed in 2020-2021. I figured I would upload what I had and I will upload a pt. 2 whenever I film the rest of the crossings. Alliance, OH is definitely a must stop train watching spot if you're ever in the Akron/Canton Metro area. The Norfolk Southern's busy Cleveland/Fort Wayne Lines cross and intersect here connecting the major rail hubs of Chicago and Conway. The Amtrak station in town makes for a nice and easy way to sit back and enjoy a modern day mainline. Enjoy the video!

On a windy December day, I headed out to the small town of Deshler to catch some CSX mainline action. Two former Baltimore & Ohio Line cross in town, and the Toledo Sub (North-South Line) still utilize vintage B&O CPL signals! I apologize for the wind noise in some clips. NS 5642 somehow made it onto C67 which is a nice change. This video shows him arriving in Orrville, going up the old PRR CA&C line to smuckers, plus some operations at smuckers, before he departs and goes back to Canton!
