When Jose and his wife lived in Sydney Australia my mother nursed their little boy who had Leukaemia. Jose would come in and play guitar for him. At the time my mother was courting with my father and Jose invited them to a recital of his in the city.

No tiene contexto histórico esta película, Florencio Parravecino nunca tuvo relacion con Barrios, tampoco mencionan que tanto el Maestro de Agustín como su padre eran Argentinos, ademas sugiere que Barrios fue distinguido en Paraguay cuando no fue asi, de hecho se lo menosprecio y por eso tuvo que irse a otros países... Muy floja

From my personal opinion Segovia took a shortcut by rearranging piano music and play other compositors music. Barrios took the hard way, he composed his own music.

I bought this album in late 1974. It impresses me to this day.

Many great guitarist were very much underrated even today they almost never get the recognition they deserve..
