Honda Hornet CB750 Exhaust Sound with Arrow Slip-On. The db-killer is out. The microphone used is the standard micro for the camera. The camera was placed around 5 meters away from the bike. Couldn't rev it too much because there was a Military outpost nearby.

      Hey! I actually use two phones (Samsung S23 Ultra and S8) for recording sound and use the Osmo's microphone. Then, I mix the sound during editing.

    Olá a todos. Já tenho 800 km e na questão do acelerador uso no modo user, com o engine brack no mínimo e ajuda muito. Muitas velocidades baixas , tipo 20 a 25km/h já estou na 3 marcha, melhora muito a sensibilidade e não fica a dar aqueles coises em baixas velocidades.

      Verdade, também senti diferença com essa alteração no _engine breaking_. Principalmente porque dessa forma já não é necessário intervir tanto com o acelerador e há menos resistência. Obrigado por deixares a dica. Abraço e boas curvas! 🏍️

    Olá, desde já, obrigado pelo _feedback_ e parabéns pela mota. Espero que gostes tanto dela como eu 😅 Relativamente a isso do acelerador, é normal. Já tive até noutro vídeo outra pessoa a comentar sobre isso. A única coisa que é possível fazer mas que pouco ajuda é realmente essa questão dos modos de potência. Entretanto, não tenho a certeza, mas se bem me recordo, nas MT's (pelo menos a MT-07) também acontece isso.

      @@DiogoTorres17 pois vai ter que ser mesmo uma questão de hábito. Já fiz 220km e realmente já lhe estou a apanhar o jeito. Mas rotundas pequenas ou situações de velocidade reduzida até começo a suar do bigode. Também moro em Almada é só rotundazinhas. Isto é mota para andar em estradas livres. Um abraço e boas curvas

    Boas. Belo video. Também tenho uma desde dia 8 Agosto. Adoro a moto. Sinto é alfuma dificuldade a habituar me ao acelerador em baixas velocidades, tipo em 1a e 2a. Ja estou bem melhor, mas acho demasiado sensível o acelerador. Na tua mota sentes o mesmo? Ja alterei para Rain. Ajustei modos user e ajudou. Mas é mota que quer sempre acelerar 😂

      Hey, sorry for the late reply! I went with medium for upshifting and soft for downshifting. You can check it out yourself, but I don't think it makes a huge difference. Thanks for watching, cheers!

    Hi man, I love your videos. I have the same bike, and I wanted to ask you something. I love the bike, but to be honest, there is something that is bothering me a lot. The first 5% of the throttle is not smooth; it's very jerky. Do you have the same issue with your bike? I'm currently looking to ECU flash the bike because that seems to solve the problem. Have you had it tuned? Did changing the exhaust improve the bike for you? Thanks.Best regards.

      Hi man! First of all, thanks a lot for the comment. It feels great to know you like my videos! 👍 Now, regarding the issue about the throttle, yes, I do have the same problem. 🤔 However, I don't know if this solves the problem at all, but sometimes when I see that I'll have to input just a little throttle, like on bad condition roads for example or riding very slowly, I change the driving mode to Rain or low engine power mode. Since the modes from Rain up to Sport also change the response and aggressiveness of the bike, I thought that this could help. 🏍️ Nevertheless, I do feel that, but I don't know if this is the only bike that does that (I drove a Yamaha Mt-07 and Tracer 700 and I think that both have the same behavior). Regarding the exhaust, I was not looking for any other outcome, other than a louder and better sound. By the way, let me ask you if you've ever had any issues blipping the throttle, like when reducing gears, for example? I've had some issues like when I was reducing the throttle, it "shuts down" or cuts out. It's even happened twice now, where the bike would even shut off. I think this could also be related to the throttle being electronic, and there may be some kind of bug. Has this ever happened to you as well? I'm thinking of talking to my dealership about this since this is a 2023 model, and there could be some kind of first-model issues.       @@DiogoTorres17 Thanks for your response, it is very helpful. I do know about the behavior in rain mode. I always ride in user mode with the power at minimum, like in rain mode, which helps a bit with the throttle feeling. I have tried other bikes and nothing seems as bad as my CB750 regarding this issue. I guess all two-cylinder bikes are not very smooth; it's the price to pay for wheelies.😜 Regarding the problem of cuts when blipping the throttle, I never had it. I love to manually blip the throttle when downshifting and never had any issue. My bike is also a 2023 version. I hope your dealership can help you with that. Maybe a software reset for the ride-by-wire system can work. Nice talk! Reach out to me if you need to ask anything in the future.

      I have the same bike and the same problem, on bad surfaced roads rain mode is helpful because it reduces the jerkiness

    Tenho uma Transalp 750 e tem o mesmo motor e o mesmo quickshift e sinceramente também não noto muita diferença entre os 3 níveis...noto sim que baixas a downshift é "pó bruto" por isso se calhar irei ficar com os upshifts no hard e um bom revmatching à antiga para downshifts. Cumprimentos

      Boa máquina! Concordo, de vez em quando as reduções pareciam forçadas, daí ter colocado em modo "soft" para ver se ajudava. De qualquer forma, também recorro muito a reduzir manualmente. 👍

      I'm not sure what you mean by "pop and bangs," but without the db-killer, it is very rare to hear some individual loud pops. It does make a lot of burbling sounds without the db-killer. With the db-killer, as I recall correctly, there are fewer burbles.

      Concordo perfeitamente em todos os aspetos. Realmente, o pneu atrás mais fino, pelo menos em termos estéticos, não fica nada bem. Já em termos práticos, sinto que a mota se torna mais ágil do que a MT-07, por exemplo

    Hi,do you lost power with the arrow muffler?Or it is the same like the original?i had a ixil mk2 on my hornet and it eats a lot of power,speed max only 185kmh. Greets from Germany

      Hello, I am sorry to hear that. In my case, I did not experience any noticeable changes in terms of power. I am only using a slip-on exhaust. Did you use a full exhaust system?

      Hi! I removed two solder points (one above and one below). After that, I just pulled the db-killer out (will be hard for the first time). Best regards! :)

      Boas! Sim, a diferença ainda é bastante grande. Vê os meus shorts, tenho aí os cold starts. Recomendo o uso de fones para seja minimamente mais parecido com o que é ouvido pessoalmente.

      Yes. You need two to remove two welding points (one at the top and one at the bottom). After that, just pull out the silencer (it might be hard because it is really snug). Hope this helps 👍

      Olá, sim o som com o db já melhor do que o original. É menos abafado e mais alto. Tenho um vídeo nos shorts que mostra o som com o db-killer.

      Yes, it is the Indy Race Version, Slip-On only. In terms of performance, I didn't notice any performance changes. It definitely makes a good sound anyway. Without the db-killer, the exhaust sound gets as loud as a full Akrapovic Titanium Exhaust with no db-killer either from a MT-07. Hope this helps!

      You're never going to notice a performance difference with just a slip on, and even if you think you do, it's probably placebo. I've noticed the weight difference on one of my bikes, but the performance is pretty much the same.. it's usually within 1hp if you go by manufacturer stats. You really can't feel that.

      Está com o db killer metido. O db killer está segurado com 2 pequenas soldas (uma em cima e outra em baixo). Em breve vou tentar remover e meto algo. Sobre a ponteira em si, já andava com interesse nela. Ao vivo é sempre diferente, mas produz um som mais grave e mais alto um pouco. Tenho um vídeo antigo com o escape original, talvez te ajude a comparar

      @@DiogoTorres17 então em princípio dá para remover. Eu tenho o sc-peoject, é um escape muito bem acabado, mas o db-killer esta soldado por dentro e ainda não vi ninguém que o conseguisse tirar. Por isso acho que vou apostar neste. Obrigado pela resposta rápida, vou ficar então a espera do video sem db-killer ehehehe
