My name is Marie from Our Okie Homestead. We are located in Beautiful Southeastern Oklahoma. We have a small Pecan Orchard. We added Peach and Plum trees in 2022.
We've raised some Paint horses over the years and even showed some.
But as life does, things change and we change direction with it.
I started trying gardening again a couple years ago after having so many failures in the past. But after watching lots of good RUclips channels, even I became successful in growing some of our own food! Which made me want to grow even more!
We have added goats to the farm again. Been a few years and sure have missed their poison ivy removal services! We are negotiating work terms with them at this time. So far they just want to hang out instead of working, LOL!
We've had chickens most of our time here on our farm but added some Turkeys end of 2022.

Can also be a side effect of certain drugs. Humira-type drugs (bio identical drugs) can cause hoarseness and loss of voice. Trying to track down a sudden change in my asthma, and a now chronic cough that seems to not respond to my asthma meds. In looking it up online, Humira (and bio identical drugs) can have “cough” as a side effect. Still in the research phase here. That, and I’m hoarse, and sometimes have very little voice. Making a phone call? Yeah, nope.
Ear Nose & Throat doc would be best but also an allergist or even your PCP ❤ honey! It helps
I had the same thing. I started drinking celery juice every morning. That and many more symptoms dissappeared. There is a great book by Anthony William that lays it all out for you. Its life changing . I also lost 120 lbs . I didnt expect that at all. I started it to heal my kidneys. Which are in tip top shape now !
How do you make your celery juice? What do you mix it with?
I have had health issues for years, I’m on disability. I have noticed when my pain increases my voice decreases. My daughter can always tell when I’m hurting from my voice alone. I don’t know what causes it, my doctor says auto immune.

Yup, that's the doc specialized in this specific anatomical region and they should be able to identify the issue and offer help with it. Be it through medicinal treatment or speech therapy. Artritis can cause issues with vocal cords or the joints of the Larynx. Your family doctor or rheumatologist should be able to recognize and/or help you with this too. Looks like Thanksgiving is covered!!! Possibly Christmas as well!!! Don't know about anyone else but I LOVE TURKEYS!!! It goes great with mashed potatoes and gravy!!!
