I think mine might have a glue around it should I get more sealant just incase or order a whole new one wish i could send a pic mate so you could have a look I'm unsure how much would a mechanic charge me I just don't trust some of them they might throw more money on it then it is

Any chance you can say which wires you found were for the horn? Finally found a video that has same problem as my 99au, but you didn't show which wires are involved. I've gone to the circuit diagrams and tried to find the correct connector but no luck. trying to do exact same thing as you but hoping to not have to removed the horn pad

picked up one of these recently, howd you go with the composite or rgb mod?
