Well it’s a valid question, why would anyone vote for someone extreme? The answer is that what people regard as extreme is different. For example now in the UK we have a party called Reform, the established politicians would call them extreme, because they stand for something different from all the other parties. But what is actually extreme? Is it to allow almost unlimited immigration in to the country, to create a society that we really don’t know what it will become? Or is it to try to keep it like it was before? I think the answer to that is obvious.

It’s nothing wrong with how the Danish language is written, it’s pronunciations that is the problem, they swallow the words so you need serious concentration to get what they actually say. Also the number system is very weird, I understand it but WHY??

Björn Gustafsson burned hot and fast. He appeared in everything back in the late 2000's. If you haven't check out his showings on Melodifestivalen (the Swedish intro competition to Eurovision)

Henrik Schyffert is a pure grifter who rode the coattiails of Robert Gustafsson, Johan Rheborg, Martin Luuk, Andres Lokko and Jonas Inde. He played the "straight man" to these other guys and has on many occasions attributed his fame to them. Overall he has very little comedic talent and most of the humor comes from him reacting "normally" to Robert's wackiness. He'd never would be able to as famous as he is if it wasn't for the brilliance of the others in Killinggänget

Robert Gustafsson is a very funny man ans as far as I know very apolitical (as any good comedian should be, in my opinion). Henrik Schyffert on the other hand has made a very clear leftist stance. Agree or disagree, I don't think it belongs in the scene.

Thing is. Sweden is the worlds 3rd biggest music export behind the US and the UK. Not per capita but in total and with just 10m people. No wonder I’m proud to be Swedish Well. All credit goes to the creators of course! But music is such a huge part of music that I have to be proud of what my fellow Swedes are capable of 😊

Yea some of the songwriters are famous, but then there are alot of people in younger years creating music, one can get a place ro rehearse in most twons at almost no cost, i think that is the reason alot of people start doing music simply because one can try it at almost no cost. Some get stuck doing it and develop into really talented musicians.

In Stockholm you get around 6 hours of daylight in January, as a comparison. A little better. I live 200 km south of Stockholm and to me, winters are getting tougher on my mental health every year. I force myself to go out midday for a hint of daylight even if the weather is bad. If you’re out of luck you won’t see the sun for a week or so during weekdays. We usually don’t have that much snow as in Joanna’s video down here, and that’s a bit depressing. The white snow reflects light and make the surroundings feel bright and not so winter gloomy. I def prefer that. I eat vitamin d supplements, but I’m not sure how well they work. I try to keep up the routine of working out during winter, but sometimes it’s hard. Lacking daylight and sunlight makes you have less energy in general. I guess it differs for everyone but for me it’s hard. A guaranteed “medicine” for this is to travel to somewhere warmer and charge your batteries. I know it’s not good for the climate, but what the h*ll should I do? 😂

If Sweden hadn't chosen neutrality, Danish, Norwegian and Finnish refugees wouldn't have been able to survive. Instead it provided a safe haven for all the Nordic countries, which in the end saved more lives than the opposite would have done.

Sweden really didnt have much choice but try stay neutral since Germany could basically invade Sweden and take it at any time at the early years. Later in the war they mire and more helped the allies. As for Finland they was part of Sweden for almost 700 years from around 1150 until the Finnish War of 1809 after which Finland became an autonomous part of the Russian Empire as the Grand Duchy of Finland. During all these years Swedish was learnt along their native language finnish. Even today many in Finland talk Swedish and Finnish. In Sweden many see Finland ss their brother/sister country!

When it comes to the pronunciation of the letter G, in Swedish we have the concept of hard and soft vowels. The soft vowels are E, I, Y, Ä, and Ö, while the hard vowels are A, O, U, and Å. These vowels deterrent how the consonant that proceeds them should be pronounced så for example they said Götaland and you heard then huw the G was pronounced, they also said Gamla stan (the Old Town) and the G was pronounced differently. If you for example say the word Kyrka (Church) the K is pronounced like the Ch in English, while the word Kaffe (Coffee) the K is harder.
