Truly the worst anime of all time lmao such a borefest with zero interesting plot and boring character development I’ve seen hentai with better plot 💀

I cried and laughed and swooned and pondered and feared and felt all other sorts of emotions while watching/reading Dungeon Meshi. I felt nothing while watching Frieren… empty like just like the very characters that reside in this manufactured world and are devoid of any personality. I laughed at one joke. I rolled my eyes at the stunning visuals that instilled a beautiful cold air of meaningless. Like damn this show’s environments are absolute art. But I don’t watch other anime, so I get that people are excited about something that’s paced delicately and holds back some annoying tropes (despite still having tons anyway) over saturation of a genre for sure affects enjoyment of anything. I didn’t have that, so Frieren as a story was not as compelling enough to bear sometimes.

Frieren is more slice of Life Dungeon is more adventure.

red eyes part they did sort of explain why he turned so quick and to me it makes senses watch s2 again and you'll see. ill say this much when they show how the young cop fall by being pushed instead of being controlled to jump. its a sly and easy to miss point but its a sort explanation to why red eyes asked for help so quick..

In the manga, vol. 2 ch 11, Lu Guang's were wearing the same clothes from the first season of the anime and Cheng Xiaoshi saw a hooded guy outside the house where they were doing the mission, he wanted to follow this guy but Lu Guang didn't let him , it was a night and there was a forest nearby, most likely it could have been where Cheng died in Lu Guang's memories, as the hooded guy is not the girl who appears later, as she was wearing a mask and inside the hoodie she was wearing a black shirt, while the hodded man did not wear a mask and had a white shirt inside his sweatshirt, in addition to prioritizing running away instead of following the cat, which could mean that he was actually spying on them, and when the cheng follows him in a parallel world, may have caused his death and Lu guang only finds him when he is almost dying and took his power, like Qiao.

Wow, this is the driest humor I've ever seen in my life... And it's somehow good.

They brought this series out way too fast. They could have elongated s2 but overall great job. Now the author has to get in gear and write some more product. Wish they'd work on some finished product like Konosuba. They could bring that out every year until they finish the story. Or give me some original isekai quartet content.

Frieren is good but honestly kinda overrated. I think the fanbase is cult like in their devotion to it. Dungeon meshi was more interesting to me.

The first theory can't be correct because we know that Lu Guang dived back on 9/13 on an unknown year. The date as shown in the first epidode, Emma, was 04/16/2021 but the next date we are shown from lu guang's watch was in the earthquake dive on 10/06/2021. This is a massive time skip and this is the only major time skip that happens. S1 Ep10 happens on 10/22/2021 and the entirety of season 2 occurs around 10/24/2021 given the day-night cycles in the season. Given that in the ending scene lu guang still had fresh blood stains on his shirt we can assume that he dived not long after Cheng Xiao shi's death, meaning that he died sometime between ep 1 and 3. This could also be when the Bridon arc takes place where we potentially se Cheng Xiao shi die.
