When a key gets stuck in a door, do you stick another one in? 5 seconds before I started rolling video, I predicted this would happen. Hilarity ensues.
Geddy has nice balls...WOW, that sounds dirty out of context. I'm talking about his baseball collection!
-.-- -.-- --..
rush are great guys and have alot of balls😀
They really had a recipe for success... with each other.
Seeing as Neil was seemingly happiest when he was among folks who didn’t know him from Adam, I’m grateful he got to enjoy dwelling in that obscurity as often as he did. Rest easy, Pratt…we love and miss you tremendously. 🙏🏻♥️
Geddy Lee stated that reporters found them boring!😂 but not their music! So glad I saw them back in like '02-03 I think? Awesome show of course. It was July 4th in North Carolina. Geddy said "we are the Canadians here to play on ur Birthday America!" 😂 I luv Rush! Rip Neil.
What’s the song at 7:24
Nvm I found it. No wonder I didn’t recognize it; it’s from Vapor Trails
rush was always well grounded, stay away from drugs & other, stayed focused on the music, glad they did, incredible talent
As a kid, of course I thought being a rock star would be the best thing ever. As an older guy when thinking about the actual reality of the day to day, I think the shine would come off of that fairly quickly.
Great content. Thanks for sharing.
Fidel is a dictator not a president
I miss Rush..
what dvd/movie is this from?!
Hands down, The Greatest Assemblage Of Musical Artistic Talent and Longevity. Period. The tripod where every leg is as strong as you can find. Where every leg could be the supreme alpha of another band but by being together were made stronger yet. Love Led Zepplin. Love The Beatles. Rush had the most Rocket Sauce with the least bottles. (Rocket Sauce Courtesy of Jack Black) Thank You
In other words: What to do when you have too much money and have played too much music.... instead of ODing
Alex's golf partner in celeb tournaments is Alice Cooper ,how cools that.
And the geeks shall inherit the earth!
I did live the life of a professional musician for a few years. Nothing remotely on the scale of Rush of course, but certainly one that afforded me countless opportunities for the life that the average "Rocker" on tour lives. I indulged a little bit in the women and the alcohol and partying (never got into any drugs). What I found was that after a pretty short period, it got really old. Even for a guy in his 20s. Waking up next to a stranger after a third or fourth straight night of drinking to excess just felt empty. I had enough judgement and maturity to get out of that life pretty quickly. I am proud to say that I ended up spending most of my time off reading, drumming, or exploring the cities. That was incredibly fulfilling. Looking back, I wish I had the forethought to go to the next level like these guys did. Although I had none of those resources, so it wouldn't have been quite as feasible, but still I fantasize about that. These men are truly extraordinary.
It makes me wonder what a lot of these musicians do when they’re not performing? Do you guys rehearse, do media appearances, etc. or is it more your own time to do as you please?
Imagine getting to ride around on a motorcycle with Neil Peart
Ya, eh?
#RUSH4EVER
Yet, for some reason Lerxst never talks about how he’s a licensed pilot who flies often. I think he’s just licensed on small Cessna planes. Rumor has it that he has an honorary commission with the Canadian Air Force Apparently, he’s friends with a number of high ranking officers who are fighter pilots. And they often invite Lerxst to join them on flights, which he mans the co-pilot position with the colonel… whoever is in command of the flight This makes sense because as an honorary commissioned officer, he gets to bypass TONS of red tape, like having to watch safety training videos, do a risk assessment, certify on this and that, the list goes on… the kinds of things one would have to do as a “visitor” Having that commission, it basically lets the base know that he belongs and knows the deal. This also relieves other commanders of tons of liability in the event of an accident
Their love of Canada runs deep. Canada #1
Three of the greatest musicians ever to play. Ever. Neil’s lyrics are the most beautiful and intelligent ever written as well. RIP Professor. We miss you.
These three guys are very very impressive. They very intellectual and very very intelligent they didn't get into the drug Deborah and so I mean they're just sharp as a tack
Hey Alex tell Getty to get those charts ready we're ready to set sail and tell him I love him very much because I love Rush
"I'm perfectly happy to pass the time of day with somebody at a gas station." All of these guys appear so well grounded and normal. These guys would be great to know just as a friend and not necessarily as a rock monster.
I met Geddy twice just out and around. Didn't talk about music or even acknowledged that he's world famous. Just a guy in line at the grocery store one day and a few years before at the national park.
I would imagine many celebrities love that, when the public just treats them as people instead of fawning over them.
I never saw them and I was a big fan.....I even had a chance to see rush rush show for like 2 bucks!!! Now all I have is a very huge regret. Just do it people....we only go around once then we are done....don't wait if there is a way...do it.
Even though Neil has passed, I like to picture in my head he's just off riding his motorcycle on an extended tour for himself somewhere.
How I wish I could have met Neil somewhere off the beaten path. RIP Mr. Peart
Geddy....bring back the expositions !!!!
Al I'm heart broken. You just made George Carlin's shit list. 😝
Alex has a nice swing.
Legendary folks right there.
First time watching this video. Completely blew my mind. At 6:30 Neil is biking through my hometown of Pemberton British Columbia. Small farming community. The big mountain you see is called Mt. Currie.
Like a heroin addict buying a farm in Afghanistan
3 dimensional. They have a job but they do other things too. Pretty awesome to see the countryside! I like Neil's extra-curriculum the best!
I would love to run into Geddy or Alex on isle 3 at the supermarket. RIP Neil.
Neil is so fucking deep and balanced. He could have done world speaking tours. Might have taught the narrow minded white collared buffoons in politics a thing or 2 about humanity and life.
RUSH makes me proud to be Canadian... Long live RUSH... Long live Canada.
I love these fellow Canadians. Every musician should be as cool as they are.
Great video!
Nice swing Alex
I've found when I play guitar at home a couple of hours before a round of golf I play better.
I think Neil might be my twin bro separated at birth
good
Rush = musicians Motlëy Crüe = Rock Stars
Anyone know who Neil's motorcycle mate was? Bodyguard?
Pretty decent swing there Al!
