The thing is even if a robot or an AI software does not take your position right away the headquarters of that job can decide to cut costs if headquarters gets impacted by AI well the worker gets a lay off. The worker doesn't necessarily have to be at headquarters for that to happen.

I have a HEY personal account but now use Superhuman, on a month's free trial but it is annoying that if I did switch to HEY, I can't migrate my email from Gmail to HEY which is a bit annoying.

I can't wait for Hey to add AI and maybe some new UI updates in 2025.

I can see Sora being useful for content creators that need short clips of footage to illustrate video essays. Instead of having to look for stock footage, they can generate it. But anybody who wants to create serious videos will end up creating them in the conventional way in order to have control and consistency. It's just tiring how people who know nothing about video keep pushing the BS about artists being replaced any minute now.

I saw it's attempt at the "Will Smith Spaghetti" test and just couldn't help but laugh. They're charging so much for it because it must be expensive to run. Which means it has to get a whole lot better before anyone will want to pay that much money for it. Will they get it to that point before the hype is over? Time will tell.

I really appreciate your comparison. I was totally sold on Hey, but then when I went to check it out, I realised that I would have to get a new email address - it doesn't work with my existing email accounts. That's a non-starter for me. Would have been helpful for you to point that out.

the reason no email app is perfect is coz most of the time, what makes email terrible is the ppl who send it especially if its from clients or work. and if not then its just emails wanting you to buy stuff or spam that's why if you are say, Taylor Swift, assuming she checks email her self instead of her assistant, while it still won't be fun, but probably not as bad as us since she won't need any sales as she can buy whatever she wants she can choose what works she wants and its usually ppl begging her to work not giving you work.

Arc user for more than a year. Unfortunately it will starts to calapse tabs and other things if you have a little older Mac. They are no longer updating the browser for older MacOS (like my Monterey). Sad. I'm looking for a substitute right now...

Thanks for the tip, but it appears that this method has a flaw. Whenever I make changes to the location, when I make a search testing to see if the it appears with the old location and with the new location. So I think it makes a duplicate for every field you make changes to.

Thanks for the detailed comparison! Just installed Beeper on Windows 10, but unfortunately the sound notification is not working, I can see popups only, but with no sound at all. I have enabled "Enable audible notifications for this session", but with no luck. Any idea why sound is not working? 😕

I too really like HEY. I would love to see them implement inter-message/thread search. That said, I have been using for just over two years, and they are always improving the product, and their product support is top notch.
