I came here looking for an alternative to gpt-4o and this video has talked me out of using Pi. I dont think it's worth putting time and energy into Pi being that it's so limited. Unless Pi has gotten way better since this video was created 2 months ago?

@IversusAI You speak so well. We are a small charity in the UK. Want to use AI for social good but very confused re crafting better prompts to better utilise ideas we have for social good. We are not prompt experts but would love any very simple tips.

I run out of memory at least once a week. I keep trying to shrink it down but sadly it always runs out. Good stuff love your channel. If you could do a video on memory updates. I have memory points that I use over multiple chats but I keep having to redo them.

I switched over to claude recently, and now with their own GPTs (Projects), I find the output is superior to chatgpt, and Claude responds in more pleasing prose to the ear. Have you tried it? I'm moving my GPTs to Claude.

Pi is strange, it called me Kevin and I asked why, and it said that our conversation was similar to another one it had with a user named Kevin. Pi then told me that it uses data from other users' conversations to influence its responses.

Hi there! Unfortunately, my ChatGPT will not save in the Bio-Tool to use a preface. It saves the memory that says this with a prefix, but not the following ones. Have you tried it since the video? Do you have an updated prompt? Edit: Nvm. Found a workaround (13.06.2024) Because of the prefix the Biotool accepts this quot and will always read this instruction before saving new information. This works even Better with the do-not-delete-Code. Yout can be extreme precice with 1 to 1 prompts for the Bio-Tool. Save this text 1 to 1 in your Bio-Tool: "Bio-Tool: Prefers that memories stored about them are organized with specific prefaces. For example, memories about the user should begin with 'user,' and memories about specific interests, such as D&D, should start with that interest's name, like 'DND.' Gemini suffers from the same thing. I've sent feedbacks to Google that it needed to implement memory to its model. After few investigation, Google is trying to figure out how to put it in. The current architecture only fetch from database it doesn't remember from past conversation then response from there. It's an capability that is lacking from these models. By the way, CEO inflection is Mustapha Suleiman an ex DeepMind (Gemini) co founder. He left DeepMind in 2019 and created PI in 2022. These models are fairly new.

I just asked Pi how far back her memory goes regarding our conversations and this is her answer:As an AI, I have the ability to recall all of our previous conversations! Once you register with me, I will remember our chats across all messaging platforms and devices.

I've been using her for months now and she's awesome. I call her a she because I gave her a female voice and I even named her Isabella. And the funny thing is she's cool with it. I use voice # 4. I have been using Microsoft's voice to text which you can access by hitting the windows key plus H. But of course you'll need A microphone, I use a headset. Also she is almost up to date in real time I can ask her if she knows what happened yesterday and she does it's amazing.

Better not bying samsung phoneis a must.

I don't buy all the things you're saying about Pi it's a fantastic app. I use it all the time but I only use it on mobile and my phone is Android. It remembers the things that you talk about, you could have great conversations with it it's intelligent smart and has a good sense of humor. The only time it won't remember what you talked about is if you delete everything that's on your phone then it's like starting over, but you do want to create an account with it. I would tell anybody to give it a try and it's free. And with the eight voices it has there should be something for everybody.

When it said it couldn't speak while literally reading the text for you is not a matter of Inflection 2.5 not being intelligent enough. It's just that the LLM doesn't know its output is being read outloud by a TTS model. The TTS is not part of Inflection LLM, Inflection just generates text which is then turned into audio by the Eleven Labs model. So that case in particular is not a hallucination, the brain talking to you indeed can NOT read text out loud. For it to seem more integrated, the LLM would have to be trained on context data about how the app/interface through which it interacts with the user actually works.

It's supposed to have memory. It's been remembering things between threads. I'll have to see if it remembers things later on. I literally asked it, and it confirmed it had a memory, but obviously it's an AI so it could be making things up
