Gooodddd this hurts. I once read a fanfic that was majorly inspired by dementia. Nightmare didn’t exactly understand things after the incident, he was violent and seemingly didn’t care for Dream at all. It became nearly impossible for Dream to love him. But, sometimes, Dream would find him sitting quietly and alone and they would just stay like that together, neither saying anything because one is in a moment of vague recognition and the other knows that this is the closest to brotherhood they’ll ever get again. This animatic reminds me of one of those moments, and that hurts

That same breath that same energy was the very thing staring at you now. Every time you were hit with a gaster blaster. It was always her her breath her eyes staring at you judging you. Hating you is the skeletons that held these blasters were blissfully unaware. Well they were judging you for timelines that were to their own universe is strictly little did they know that someone was already doing the judging for them in every reality. You shake and fear as you feel her breasts hot and slow and heavy on your shoulders. You feel sharpened things sink into your the back of your neck. You expect to hear yourself screaming feel pain or blood coming from your throat. But you don't you don't feel anything everything goes black. Suddenly you wake up with a start you're sitting in the snow outside the ruins pointed to where he will be standing soon. Before you make any sudden movements with thunder booming ahead in snow falling all around you. You hear two voices that are one inside your head. I have spared you for now it would seem. Maybe there is still hope for you yet. Do better in this reset. When you meet him shake his hand he'll have no memory of what happened. But maybe some things are better left forgotten for now. As you walk through the snow you sigh and relief but you still feel her eyes you know she's watching. You agree though maybe some things indeed are better left forgotten for now.
