UKUTA | KENYAN SHORT FILM
Ukuta is a stop-motion story about a young boy who wants to play soccer with another kid that lives on the other side of this massive wall. Since the villagers on either side of the fence look different from each other, no one is allowed to cross the wall. These two kids become friends after Joni kicks the ball over the wall and has to go to the other side to get it. Their friendship encourages the villagers to tear down the wall and become tolerant of each other.
