Hi Kaden, Thank you for your comment. It's not so much how you mix it, it’s how fast, therefore how much energy you put into a liquid. Industry uses very powerful mixers with long run times, i.e many hours if not days for casting slips. So they are powerful to move large liquid amounts for long times without wearing the motors. If you took a small amount of liquid with a powerful mixer then yes, it would whizz too fast and introduce air into the mixture and some liquids, it could go stringy. The pehatine used in the video, is a form of CMC/bentonite and that could potentially mix up like a meringue. But a domestic drill especially a battery powered one would not get anywhere near that. So in this example, its simply a quicker method of mixing. I hope this is helpful.

It's what I use on my community studio. I think as they get older they might make more noise, but I don't think it's loud or anything at all. That's all my studio uses so I can't compare it to anything else, but most wheels there are quite old and none of them are noisy, although they do make noise. Like a gentle motor hum.

The 20 is way to small,please don’t waist money,you be disappointed when you grow in your ceramic work
