Thank you so much - my alternator died suddenly on a freeway and thanks to your instruction I was able to remove it in under 10 minutes. The real fun though was installing the new one: I didn't have a mallet to drive it in place, so in the end I pounded it in place with the only heavy thing I had - the old alternator. For 15 minutes. Was quite a show

I just replaced mines. I was literally upside down on the seat changing the part. I sweated buckets. I did have a mini ratchet that allowed me to turn the screws. It worked. The part was making strange noises before now it's quiet. I think the gears were bad.

I'm putting this in my Freightliner Lord willing. I love a good sized fridge. Less stops for shopping.

I’m currently replacing mine too on my 2014. But can’t get the white lever pin to line up (same one that broke on yours). Did you ever find out what door that broken pin controlled?

About to do this for a 2015 Sonata. To get the pin in on the new actuator, turn the temp dial while ignition on to have arm rotate until pin aligns up. I found your video useful! Dealer prices to do this are outrageous! 5 stars for attempting this! This video should be entitled: "The Good, The Bad and the Ugly". The good is your son watching. The bad is twisting yourself as a pretzel to get it out and the ugly is the broken piece!

This video was great. Key to getting the new seal in place is not damaging it on the way in. I had a one inch pvc schedule 40 coupling in my garage that was the perfect size to drive this in uniformly. If you don't have one of these you can pick up in the plumbing section of orange box for under 75 cents. Use that and a rubber mallet and don't use excessive force. Mine was a Ryobi pressure washer with Honda GCV200 engine, part # was 91202-ZM0-V31.

Ma'am, what a fantastic video you took! I'm currently on Active Duty in Germany,, was offered to buy a 1996 C180 Benz...crank no start! Shot some ether (?) into intake, motor fired. Fuel pump relay clicked behind batt in trunk, no pump noise. Faulty fuel pump. No will change it out my self thanks to your amazing video! Thank you. 👊

Thanks for this. My lights suddenly stopped working after some 5 years of use. Changed the fuse, changed the remote battery twice. I was looking for a replacement remote until I found your video! Don't know how it 'unprogrammed' itself, but a re-power with the green button held down, worked immediately. Cheers!

Hey, this worked. I first fount the main power block had a button that turned color from white to alternating colors. Once I used Cindy's method, my remote finally worked!
